  • Description

    Beki (Rebeka)

I grew up in a large family, where cooperation and looking after each other were part of everyday life. Spending time outdoors, helping in the garden and going camping came naturally and shaped how I relate to nature and people.
As a teenager, I worked in several different jobs, which helped me become more independent and adaptable. Over time, I became interested in how everyday choices, especially around food, can influence how we feel. This led me to study dietetics at Semmelweis University, where I also met my husband, Gergő.
Today, I work as an online dietitian and lifestyle mentor in our shared project, Guts&Roots. I mainly support people who want to better understand their eating habits and build routines that fit into real life. Working online allows me to stay flexible while remaining connected to my work.

    Geri (Gergely)

I was born and raised in a small village in western Hungary. Growing up close to nature and physical work shaped how I approach everyday life. Helping in the garden, being around animals and spending time outdoors were simply part of growing up.
Sport has been present in my life from a young age. Through years of practicing martial arts, I became interested in how nutrition affects performance, recovery and concentration. This interest eventually led me to study dietetics at Semmelweis University, where I later specialized in sports nutrition.
I now work as an online dietitian within Guts&Roots, mainly with people who want to support their physical or mental performance through their nutrition. Together with my wife, Rebeka, we chose a way of working that allows us to be independent of location and keep our work simple and focused.

    Norway

Norway feels familiar to us in a quiet way. During our travels there, we spent a lot of time outdoors, hiking, hitchhiking and wild camping. These experiences had a strong influence on how we think about freedom, simplicity and everyday life.
We got engaged at Kinnarodden, the northernmost point of mainland Europe, which naturally strengthened our connection to the country. Since then, Norway has remained part of our long-term plans.
One day, we would like to restore an old house in Norway and build a slower, more nature-oriented life there, while continuing to work remotely. For us, it represents a direction rather than a fixed plan.

  • More details about your skills

    Beki:

I have a university degree in dietetics and a refresher massage qualification. I work with nutrition and lifestyle support, focusing on practical, everyday solutions. I enjoy cooking and often cook for others.
Alongside my studies, I worked in various student jobs, which gave me experience in hospitality, customer service and basic administrative tasks. These included working as a receptionist, bartender, blog editor, and helping with Airbnb apartment management (guest communication, check-in and cleaning). I am comfortable adapting to new tasks and working independently.

    Geri:

I have a university degree in dietetics and a professional chef qualification. Nutrition and cooking are both part of my daily life, and I am comfortable working in kitchen environments.
Through my studies and earlier work, I gained experience in manual and practical jobs such as construction work, gardening, serving, cooking, fruit picking and other seasonal agricultural tasks. I am used to physical work and learning new skills as needed.

    Entrepreneurial experience (shared):

For the past five years, we have been running our own small business together. Through this, we gained practical, hands-on experience in several business-related areas, including CRM and marketing automation systems, marketing processes, website editing, social media management, video editing, basic graphic design and sales.
This background helped us become organized, self-directed and comfortable with planning, problem-solving and working independently.
