  Description

  We are a family of three + a friend (Doroteja) living with us most of the time.
  We live in unspoilt nature above Idrija. We are surrounded by forest and hills, the nearest neighbors are a 10-minute walk away.
  Klemen is a carpenter, son Lun is a first-grader, and I, Martina, am art restaurateur by education, but I work as a housewife,I also help in the workshop,I bake cakes to order and occasionally prepare vegetarian catering. I loooveee cooking :) I practice yoga regularly, I am very interested in Ayurveda and jewellery making. We are all fans of good music, especially Black metal. We like to hang out, eat and drink well, but we are also woking kind of people, so no time is wasted :)
  We grow hemp, which is Klemen's great passion. We also started the renovation of an old farm not far from home. The house has a beautiful vaulted barn, which we have preserved, and we are building a wooden house above it. We work alone, with the help of friends and acquaintances. This old house is also a place for socializing, as we hold several private concerts every year. Our desire is to provide space for people who are curious and creative, who appreciate nature and know how to enjoy simple things. A space for relaxation and inspiration, interesting talks,for yoga, artistic creation, cooking ventures, musical events, herb and mushroom workshops... a kind of community where knowledge and stories would be shared...

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  We are surrounded by beautiful nature to explore, nearby are historical sights, festivals and concerts in the summer, local producers of food, wine and beer... You can learn basic carpenter work, building from wood, about restoring, growing vegetables and hemp. I know a bit about wild herbs and basic ayurveda and I can make private yoga class for you :) I can talk about food forever :)
  We are interested in everything related to handcrafts, nature, food, music,hemp,yoga,ayurveda, wild herbs,mushrooms...

  Help

  We are looking for help in building a wooden house, restoring the masonry part of the house, landscaping. Basic knowledge of working with wood is welcome. Or at least the desire for knowledge:) You can also keep an eye on the child, he is very sociable and curious. Occasional help with cooking and arranging the garden and cleaning is also welcome.

  Accommodation

  We can offer camping- tent, bedding and mattreses included. Maybe by summer it will also be possible to stay in a house that is still under construction. In case of bad weather, it is possible to stay in our small house. We could discusse on other possibilities of accommodation in case of interest. Maybe we can rent a room nearby for you...
  
  I prepare at least 3 vegeterian/vegan meals per day for everyone. Man part of the family is not vegeterian, so you can get meat aslo. But we are not really big meat eaters here. No worries about hunger please :)
