Hello everyone!
We live in a beautiful little house in Dunham that we renovated near Lake Selby. We are 4 adults and 2 children living in a wonderful shared accommodation dynamic.
In spring 2025 we plan to build a new house in Frelighsburg which is 12 minutes from where we live. It’s surrounded by nature within a magnificent collective ). The house will be built right next to a shared woodworking workshop.
We want to build an ecological house, using formed hemp concrete.
We need help on several levels for the construction of this one.
We are actively looking for someone with construction experience (carpenter/joiner) who would like to stay for several weeks.
If you do not have experience in the field of construction, but you want to learn about the hemp technique, when we have reached the stage of forming the hemp walls, you could come and learn and help us in this stage where we will need a lot of volunteers.
We will also need help in preparing meals to feed all the workers!
So there are several options for you!
We speak French and English but would be happy to welcome someone who speaks Spanish or Portuguese (minimum two weeks).

The timeline is not yet precise but here is an approximate:

Depending on where we are in the construction. We will sleep at home where you will have a small room or if we sleep on the construction site, there is a converted bus or above the workshop or while camping.
