Description
We have a self-sustaining social project that develops workshops and job training courses for the youth and adults of Palomino, with the objective of strengthening their ability to get and keep a job in the tourism industry. Through language classes, workshops, and a restaurant, we implement different modules of learning.
Restaurant - Bakery - Inspirational Kitchen
Cuisine produced with local products in a creative and educational way. We keep in mind the nutritional value of the food and highlight its flavors to achieve innovative experiences by changing the menu daily.
Language Center
We offer three language courses:
English and French for the local community and Spanish for foreigners.
We develop a program specially adapted for each person.
Ecological Laundry
We take care of Palomino’s water.
By using our ecological laundry, you are contributing to the community and its hospitality training.
Professional Development Center
We offer workshops and courses where we implement learning methods focused on trades of the tourism field. We assist the community by helping the workforce find and maintain a position.
About the job:
We are looking for both a French and English teacher who would be available for a minimum of a month. As many of our students are beginners, we require someone who has a good level of Spanish. You must also be fluent in French and/or English and preferably have some previous teaching experience. You will work 15 hours a week and in exchange have free accommodation in a nice room on the premises, with a private bathroom. You will also have access to a small kitchen (there are many small shops to buy food nearby) and a 30% discount on our restaurant when open.
