Description
We are three brothers who run a farm located in Liborina, Antioquia, Colombia, surrounded by nature, mountains and forests where a great variety of birds and fauna live.
Our project combines organic agriculture, nature conservation, food production and ecotourism. We grow different organic products, we have a greenhouse, a small garden for our consumption and a dairy. We are also developing an ecotourism project and an eco-hotel, with the idea of offering nature and bird watching experiences in the future.
What we like most about our farm is the tranquility, the contact with nature and the possibility of enjoying an authentic rural environment. We want to share this experience with people from different places, learn from each other and build our project together.
During their stay, Workawayers will have the opportunity to learn about our life in the countryside, our way of producing food, our family and the culture of this beautiful region of Antioquia.

Somos tres hermanos que llevamos adelante una finca ubicada en Liborina, Antioquia, Colombia, rodeada de naturaleza, montañas y bosques donde habita una gran variedad de aves y fauna.
Nuestro proyecto combina agricultura orgánica, conservación de la naturaleza, producción de alimentos y ecoturismo. Cultivamos diferentes productos orgánicos, contamos con un invernadero, una pequeña huerta para nuestro consumo y una lechería. También estamos desarrollando un proyecto de ecoturismo y un eco-hotel, con la idea de ofrecer en el futuro experiencias de naturaleza y avistamiento de aves.
Lo que más nos gusta de nuestra finca es la tranquilidad, el contacto con la naturaleza y la posibilidad de disfrutar de un entorno rural auténtico. Queremos compartir esta experiencia con personas de diferentes lugares, aprender unos de otros y construir juntos nuestro proyecto.
Durante su estancia, los Workawayers tendrán la oportunidad de conocer nuestra vida en el campo, nuestra forma de producir alimentos, nuestra familia y la cultura de esta hermosa región de Antioquia. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
For us, receiving Workawayers is an opportunity to share our life in the countryside and meet people from different cultures. We are three brothers and we like the idea of living with our visitors, sharing meals, talking and showing them our way of life and the customs of this region of Antioquia.
During your stay you will be able to get to know the rural environment of Liborina, share with our family and the people who work on the farm, learn about organic agriculture, crop care, life in the countryside and our conservation and ecotourism projects. We will also be happy to share our knowledge about plants, farm management, food production and agricultural activities.
We would like Workawayers to also share with us their knowledge, experiences, recipes, customs, languages and traditions. We hope to learn from their different ways of seeing the world and discover new ideas that they can contribute to our project.
We want it to be an exchange in both directions: they help us in our project and we offer them an authentic experience of rural life, nature and Colombian culture.

Para nosotros, recibir Workawayers es una oportunidad para compartir nuestra vida en el campo y conocer personas de diferentes culturas. Somos tres hermanos y nos gusta la idea de convivir con nuestros visitantes, compartir comidas, conversar y mostrarles nuestra forma de vida y las costumbres de esta región de Antioquia.
Durante su estancia podrán conocer el entorno rural de Liborina, compartir con nuestra familia y las personas que trabajan en la finca, aprender sobre la agricultura orgánica, el cuidado de los cultivos, la vida en el campo y nuestros proyectos de conservación y ecoturismo. También estaremos encantados de compartir nuestros conocimientos sobre las plantas, el manejo de la finca, la producción de alimentos y las actividades agrícolas.
Nos gustaría que los Workawayers también compartan con nosotros sus conocimientos, experiencias, recetas, costumbres, idiomas y tradiciones. Esperamos aprender de sus diferentes formas de ver el mundo y descubrir nuevas ideas que puedan aportar a nuestro proyecto.
Queremos que sea un intercambio en ambos sentidos: ellos nos ayudan en nuestro proyecto y nosotros les ofrecemos una experiencia auténtica de vida rural, naturaleza y cultura colombiana. -

Help
We are looking for people who want to learn and participate in different activities on our farm. The help will mainly be related to organic agriculture, greenhouse care and crop maintenance.
Tasks may include planting, transplanting, weeding, preparing the soil, applying organic fertilizers, caring for crops, supporting the irrigation system, and harvesting crops. We may also need help with greenhouse maintenance and repair, gardening and small farm and house maintenance jobs.
Depending on each person's experience and interests, they may also collaborate on activities related to the dairy, animal care, and other farm projects.
It is not necessary to have professional experience; We highly value attitude, the desire to learn, responsibility and a taste for outdoor work and life in the countryside.

Buscamos personas con ganas de aprender y participar en diferentes actividades de nuestra finca. La ayuda estará principalmente relacionada con la agricultura orgánica, el cuidado del invernadero y el mantenimiento de los cultivos.
Las tareas pueden incluir sembrar, trasplantar, deshierbar, preparar el suelo, aplicar abonos orgánicos, cuidar los cultivos, apoyar con el sistema de riego y realizar cosechas. También podemos necesitar ayuda en el mantenimiento y reparación del invernadero, jardinería y pequeños trabajos de mantenimiento de la finca y la casa.
Dependiendo de la experiencia y los intereses de cada persona, también pueden colaborar en actividades relacionadas con la lechería, el cuidado de animales y otros proyectos de la finca.

Accommodation
Workawayers will be provided with a private room in one of the houses on the estate, in a quiet, clean, and safe environment. The house has a shared kitchen, which they can use with other Workawayers during their stay. The accommodation is located within the estate, surrounded by nature and offering a peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxing and enjoying country life.
Workawayers will have access to a kitchen where they can prepare their own meals and enjoy the flexibility of cooking according to their preferences. We will also share some meals together, especially dinner, as a way to spend time with our family, exchange cultures, and get to know each other better.
We hope to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where everyone can enjoy both their independence and the experience of sharing meals together.
