    Description

It is a small scale farm but hosts a lot of different activities. 5 of our 27 hectars are grassland for pasture and haymaking. We have a large vegetable garden, berries and fruit trees for home supply. We have a different animals: some sheep, two cows, four horses, two mini pigs, a cat, chickens and tree dogs.
We have hosted visitors trough other platform for several years, but are now looking to host someone who would primarily like to help prepare our shared meals.
To work here you need to have a positive attitude, be social and preferably speak some scandinavian or english. You need to be flexible and willing to learn, and prepared to to take part in the daily life on the farm.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

While staying with us you will have the possibility to learn about the Norwegian country and culture. You can also learn more about organic farming, we are more than willing to answer questions, and you can also partake in more practical farm work.
We have many years of experience hosting woofers, and find it to be a great way to learn about other cultures..
When staying with us, you are a part of the family, we share meals, help each other, and spend a lot of our free time together.
We often have friends and family, as well as woofers staying with us during the summer months, so you can expect a social stay with the possibility to meet people from different parts of Norway and Europe.

We are looking for someone who would like to prepare dinner and lunch during the summer months. The meals are shared together with the family and our visitors at that time. We often have family, friends and wwoofers staying with us during the summer, so there is a varying number of people to cook for.
The food you will prepare will mostly be vegetarian, and a lot of it produced on the farm. You will be expected to take part in other farm help when needed. Summer is the busiest time of the year for us, so it would be of great help for us to have someone mainly preparing food during this time. You should therefor have some experience making food.
