Description
We built a beautiful little house in an Ecovillage on 1100m2, it’s a 2x2.
We still have a lot of landscaping, gardening and Art type projects to do! Plus odd manual jobs eg building a shed. We’d love to trade accommodation for help! Ideally you’d have experience and skills in construction/landscaping and DIY tasks. Our Workawayers to date have been doing everything from cleaning our wine tour vehicles to planting new plants to digging holes, concreting posts in the ground & assembling new furniture. Some of it isn't glamorous but we are very grateful for the help. We are looking for people who genuinely want to help/learn/experience what it takes to build a permaculture based mini farm.
The Space where you are staying is what we call "The Barn." See the pictures. It’s a self contained, open plan, 1 bedroom space. Brand new, really comfortable with a kitchen. It’s pretty nice and a bit funky.
We are very busy people so we can’t provide much food for your stay apologies but as above, there is a kitchen where you can cook for yourself. We are happy to give you an onion you forgot, some balsamic glaze or milk, whatever you need. If we work hard before a meal, we’ll certainly try to cook for you guys too.Types of help and learning opportunities

Witchcliffe is in the Margaret River region, there is an amazing array of outdoor activities available. I can offer surf lessons and tour guiding in the area. We have a mountain bike, e-bikes, e-skateboards, a loan car, possible paid work. We often run free yoga classes in the community shed which you can join. There are many varied facets of construction that will be getting done around you, it’s a great learning opportunity. My wife is very personable and seems to get along with everyone, as do I. We both run a wine tour business. I am Australian, she is English but I guess we try to bring a worldly cultural experience despite that!!

Accommodation
Separate space to our house but on the same site, approximately 60m2, with kitchen. Outdoor hot shower and outdoor compost toilet close to the building. No toilet in the space sorry.
What else ...
Margaret River beaches are next level. The local forest is quite good but amazing just east of here. There’s lots of work opportunities and interesting people. As it’s an Ecovillage, people here want to know about you and want to help, there is a lot of community happenings - we love it! We are very lucky! We’d love to share with sensible, neat, smart, loving crew. Couples or singles, all good. Arrangements are negotiable, communication is the most important thing!
We have a mountain bike, 2 x e-bike and a share car which, if we trust each other, you can use!A little more information
