Description
Help needed from now/December 2024
We are looking for volunteers to assist us on our property - 500 acres of bush land 268km North East of Alice Springs. The jobs include gardening, cleaning, painting canvases for the artists, stocking the shop with groceries, assisting with cooking take-away food and other jobs. A good level of English is helpful.
We provide food and accommodation in a three-bedroom house with a large kitchen and dining and living area. Free WiFi is also provided.
We will pick you up from Alice Springs and take you back when you’ve finished. If you own a car and it's 4WD you can drive to Redgum Store via Alice Springs.

We own a store servicing the local original community and an Aboriginal Art Gallery which supports local artists. This allows you to experience a different side of Australia only few people get to see and you'll take home truly unique memories.
Our store is located only about 30kms away from Tower Rock reserve, where you can camp, enjoy climbing, hiking and watching amazing sunrises and sunsets.
Every once in a while we also have 'get together' dinners and BBQ.Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

Yes. You'll have to travel on dirt roads to get to Redgum. So you'll need a suitable vehicle (4WD highly recommended).
