Description
Passionate Individuals Wanted to Make a Difference! 🌍💙
The foundation aims to break cycles of poverty, abuse and inequality; providing opportunities for every child and youth that we care for to succeed. Through long-term solutions like education, practical and emotional care and community development, we provide tools and opportunities for children and youth to advance in every aspect of their lives, becoming the best that they can be. Our core focuses are; education and extracurricular activities; safe homes with a family environment; health and wellbeing support; community development, personal development and life skills.
Are you interested in combining your skills with a purpose? Welcome to the Foundation! We run community projects with a home-based project (Mexico Casa) in Tapachula. Our mission is to bring about positive change in the heart of Chiapas, Mexico, by empowering youth and their families through education, training and community development. As we strive to support the lives of those in our care, we are seeking dedicated volunteers to join us!

Casa Volunteer
Volunteers are needed all year round. We consider a volunteer to be a "friend in authority" here at Mission Mexico. Our youth need love and fun, but also guidance, routine, and consistent limits.

English Teaching Volunteer
English proficiency is an important tool for accessing better opportunities, both locally and globally, and this volunteer position contributes to the educational development of the foundation’s beneficiaries.
Maintenance 🔨🌳
Contribute your skills to various projects, from carpentry to general repairs. Essential criteria include prior experience in carpentry or general maintenance and a commitment to ensuring a safe environment.
Communication & Administration Assistant
Are you a communication whiz? Assist with communication and administration tasks, helping us spread the message of positive change.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Practice your Spanish with native speakers and immerse yourself into the culture in a completely untouristic area. Volunteers working with our youth and community play a vital role in creating long-term change. By sharing your skills and time, you'll help empower others, build confidence, and make a lasting impact. Whether it’s through education, creative arts, or community projects, your involvement brings fresh energy and ideas that strengthen our programs.
Through this cultural exchange, you’ll not only learn about a new culture but also give back in a meaningful way, leaving a positive legacy in the lives of the youth and the community you serve.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a small difference in the lives of an under privileged community, whilst getting up close to the Mexican culture.
