  • Description

Perfect role for a couple, FOUR hours a day for free accommodation and one big meal.
Ideal for surfers as plenty of time to enjoy the waves!
Experience preferred but an eagerness to learn is sufficient!
    Spanish AND/OR English.

If you think you could fit in to our team and enjoy this piece of beachside paradise, GET IN TOUCH!

Have you got a passion for working with children, and love the idea of making a difference and have at least 8 weeks to volunteer? We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, passionate people to help out.

We are a not for profit hotel, surf school and community outreach center. We strive to change the lives of the disadvantaged children and young people n our area, through education, empowerment and community involvement.

We consider a volunteer to be a ‘friend with authority’ here. Every volunteer has some talent that they can share. You don’t need to be an engineer or a certified child psychologist - A genuine want to help and an enthusiasm to work is a basic requirement.

Volunteering here is not a holiday but a busy work time; however it is incredibly rewarding and you will walk away from the place with the satisfaction that you have made a difference in the lives of the children and young people from an impoverished community.

Get in touch today to find out a little bit more about who we are, what we do and how you can get involved. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

  • Help

In our beach side community center we are looking for volunteers who can help us with the daily running of the house, planning and running activities / games and after-school help with homework. We are looking for everything from keen surfers, school tutors, artists and creative minds, maintenance/construction workers, farm hands and gardeners, and everything else in between!

We are also looking for an onsite teacher, to work with our two foster sons. They are currently both homeschooled as they struggle with conventional academia and we would love to introduce a play/activity/adventure based learning to our home.

We ask for a minimum of at least a 8 week commitment. We will provide you with a room in our volunteer apartment and lunch with the kids. You're welcome to stay as long as you like after the 8 week period, and most of volunteers do end up staying longer. Spanish speakers are preferred but not essential as there are always people around to help with translating.
