    Spanish and English required.

    School Tutor/Homework Help

FIVE hours a day, FIVE days a week.

We are looking for a Spanish speaker to join our team as a one-on-one tutor for our 14 year old, Junior.

Junior is in his final year of Primary school (Grade 6) and due to Covid-19 is being taught entirely online. He is an incredibly bright child, but his learning difficulties make it hard for him to keep up with the homework set by his teacher.

We are looking for a dedicated, Spanish speaker, to help him manage the work load, and work with him through his homework, ensuring that he understands each piece.

Teaching experience is preferred but not essential as the work is set by the school.

This role may also include cleaning and general help around the house.

Ideal for surfers as plenty of time to enjoy the waves!

If you think you could fit in to our team and enjoy this piece of beachside paradise, GET IN TOUCH!

Have you got a passion for working with children, and love the idea of making a difference and have at least 8 weeks to volunteer? We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, passionate people to help out.

We are a not for profit hotel, surf school and community outreach center. We strive to change the lives of the disadvantaged children and young people n our area, through education, empowerment and community involvement.

We consider a volunteer to be a ‘friend with authority’ here. Every volunteer has some talent that they can share. You don’t need to be an engineer or a certified child psychologist - A genuine want to help and an enthusiasm to work is a basic requirement.

Volunteering here is not a holiday but a busy work time; however it is incredibly rewarding and you will walk away from the place with the satisfaction that you have made a difference in the lives of the children and young people from an impoverished community.

Get in touch today to find out a little bit more about who we are, what we do and how you can get involved. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

We offer a bed in our shared volunteer accommodation, with a shared bathroom. You will also have free use of our fully fitted outdoor kitchen, laundry room, swimming pool, billiards table and surfboard collection. We also offer surf lessons at a discounted price to enjoy in your free time.

We eat our main meal (lunch) all together, and take turns cooking/cleaning up. We also provide food for you to prepare your own breakfast and dinner.

If you are unable to pay the donation but still want to join us, we would happily find something that works for both of us; for example if you chose to provide your own food/or work different hours to those advertised.
