Our time with Billy and Noelle couldn’t have been better!! They are lovely and welcoming hosts who made our time in Kinvara very special. They have had some amazing workaway experiences of there own, and we really enjoyed hearing their stories!
We spent our time preparing the property and vegetable beds for winter. We really enjoyed the work and
… read more Billy and Noelle gave clear instructions with a variety to do. Plus we had the great company of Bits the cat! Billy’s delicious scones made the best morning coffee break!! After work, Noelle cooked us a delicious meal for dinner every day, and in the afternoons we had plenty of time to get out and explore the surrounding area. Often Noelle drove us to beautiful places in the Burren for walks. The scenery is magnificent.
We had the weekends off and we could catch a bus to Galway and Cliffs of Moher. Alternatively they leant us their bikes to get into Kinvara town, so we had great fun exploring the place. We even manged to get to a local Hurling game which was a fantastic experience.
We were very lucky to have been driven along the very scenic ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ to visit Noelle’s sister and brother-in-law and help them with the same preparing of the vegetable beds. They were also very kind and generous people.
Billy and Noelle thank you so much for an amazing experience in Ireland!!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Vicktoria & Kenn were a joy to have, they worked hard and were very easy to have around our house. They followed our instructions and also worked independently during their stay with us. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Billy and Noelle were the best hosts we had so far!
Always taking care of us, Noelle cooked some amazing vegetarian meals every day at dinner (although we call it lunch :p). They even surprised us with special cocktails with sugar on the side (the whole deal) when they had guests over!! They both had amazing stories about their time in South

We did various jobs, from cleaning the polytunnel, sanding and painting furniture, cleaning the staples for the horse. The work was never too hard and they do the maximum so you don't have to get wet. During our stay, we were living in a beautiful little house in the garden, with all the comfort and space we needed. We had a really nice time at their place and would recommend it to everyone!

Julia arrived to Kinvara with a positive attitude to help us in many tasks which she did brilliantly and with a smile on her face. She was very interested in Irish culture and Irish music and many the long discussion we had at mealtime. Noelle and I were thrilled with the travelling she undertook on her week ends and free time, visiting Galway

I spent three weeks at Billy's and Noelle's home that were just amazing. The work was never too hard and left enough space to get to know the region. The two were very caring, generous and also helpful with organizing trips and activities there. They have a great knowledge about the region and are always willing to share it, which was the best way
