  Hello, I'm Christian (36) and emigrated to Sweden in February 2021. I bought a small house with 2.1ha of land here, which is very well located. There is a beautiful river on the property and forest on 3 sides. In front of the property is a small campsite. At the moment I'm working on a chicken house and there are some other projects on the plan, such as reforestation, greenhouse, carport, a second terrace and a workshop. There is still a lot to do in and around the house. That's exactly why I need a couple of energetic hands, because very often 2 aren't enough. But the fun must never be neglected!!!
  
  Hallo ich bin Christian (36) und im Februar 2021 nach Schweden ausgewandert. Ich habe mir hier ein kleines Häuschen mit 2,1ha Land gekauft, welchen sehr gut gelegen ist. Am Grundstück befindet sich ein wunder schöner Fluss und an 3 Seiten Wald. Vor dem Grundstück ist ein kleiner Campingplatz. Im Moment arbeite ich an einen Hühnerhaus und es stehen noch einige andere Projekte auf dem Plan, Wie z.B. Wald aufforsten, Gewächshaus, Carport, eine zweite Terrasse und eine Werkstatt. Auch im und am Haus gibt es noch einiges zu tun. Genau dafür brauche ich noch ein paar Tatkräftige Hände, denn sehr oft sind 2 nicht genug. Der Spaß darf dabei aber nie zu kurz kommen!!!

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  I come from Germany and moved here out of conviction, but after only a short preparation. I'm trying to fully integrate myself into my new life: linguistically, culturally, ... There are also some contacts with locals where you can get involved. I am happy to share my experiences of emigrating to Sweden, as well as my experiences of living here in the north. We have to do some preparations here every year for the long and cold winter, such as preparing firewood, getting enough feed for the animals, etc. You can learn a lot from the construction projects, because up here you have to do a lot of things differently than in other regions. You can take part in public life here - city with local government 30 minutes - Östersund as a big city with complete infrastructure up to the airport 60 minutes. But please also consider that I live in a small village in the forest, which doesn't offer you a lot of lifestyle, but instead fabulous nature experiences, contemplation and tranquillity. However, the road to civilization is not far... You have the opportunity to explore the rivers and lakes with a kayak (3 pieces are available). I expect you to be honest and motivated. Everything else will come together!
  
  Ich komme aus Deutschland und bin aus Überzeugung, aber nach nur kurzer Vorbereitung hergezogen . Ich versuche mich voll und ganz in mein neues Leben zu integrieren: sprachlich, kulturell, ...
  
  Einige Kontakte zu Einheimischen gibt es auch, wo du dich mit einbringen kannst.
  
  Ich teile gerne meine Erfahrungen mit der Auswanderung nach Schweden, sowie die Erfahrungen mit dem Leben hier im Norden. Wir müssen hier einige vorbereiteungen jedes Jahr für den langen und kalten Winter machen, wie zum Beispiel Feuerholz vorbereiten, genug Futter für die Tiere ranschaffen usw.
  
  Aus den Bauprojekten kann man viel lernen, da man hier oben doch viele Sachen anders machen muss, als in anderen Regionen.
  
  Du kannst hier am öffentlichen Leben teilnehmen - Stadt mit Kommunalverwaltung 30 Minuten - Östersund als Großstadt mit kompletter Infrastruktur bis hin zum Flughafen 60 Minuten. Bitte bedenke aber auch, dass ich in einem kleinen Dorf im Wald wohne, der dir nicht sehr viel Lifestyle bietet, aber dafür sagenhafte Naturerlebnisse, Besinnlichkeit und Ruhe. Der Weg in die Zivilisation ist jedoch nicht weit...
  
  Du hast die möglichkeit mit dem Kajak ( 3 Stück sind da) die Flüsse und Seen zu erkunden.

  Previous knowledge of construction or gardening is great, but not a requirement. What you don't know, we'll try to find out together. However, you must be aware that we sometimes also carry out more physically demanding tasks here and sometimes cannot take the weather into account. As a rule, however, we do not deliberately expose ourselves to useless wet and/or cold conditions, but adapt our tasks to the conditions.
  
  As far as you dare, you will use or operate tools, machines and vehicles.
  
  Ich suche 1-2 Helfer die motiviert, engagiert, lernbereit und offen für neues sind.
  Bereits vorhandene Kenntnisse in im Bauwesen oder Gartenarbeit sind toll, jedoch absolut kein Voraussetzung. Was du nicht weißt, versuchen wir gemeinsam herraus zu finden. Es muss dir jedoch bewusst sein, dass wir hier teilweise auch körperlich anspruchsvollere Arbeiten durchführen und auch ab und an auf das Wetter keine Rücksicht nehmen können. In der Regel setzen wir uns aber nicht absichtlich nassen und oder kalten Bedingungen unnützerweise aus, sondern passen die Arbeiten den Bedingungen an.
  
  Soweit du dir es zutraust, wirst du Werkzeuge, Maschinen und Fahrzeuge benutzen bzw. bedienen.

  Accommodation

  A spacious caravan with awning or a guest room in the house is available on site. Sanitary rooms are in the basement of the house with an outside entrance. It would be very important to me to cook (whether inside or outside) and eat together, because that's the best way to get to know each other and exchange ideas. Of course it shouldn't be a must.
  
  Vorort steht ein geräumiger Wohnwagen mit Vorzelt oder ein Gästezimmer im Haus zur verfügung. Sanitärräume befindet sich im Keller des Hauses mit Außeneingang. Mir wäre es schon sehr wichtig gemeinsamen zu Kochen (ob drinnen oder draußen) und zu essen, da man sich dabei am besten kennenlernen und sich austauschen kann.
  Das sollte natürlich kein muss sein.

  There are countless recreational opportunities. I own 3 kayaks and a fishing boat.
  you can also hike very well, sky cross-country skiing track right on the property, collect berries, go cycling, fishing, shopping in Östersund, visit the zoo, etc.
  
  Es gibt unzählige Freizeit möglichkeiten. Ich besitze 3 Kajakts und ein Angelboot.
  deseiteren kann man sehr gut wandern, Skylanglaufstrecke direkt am Grundstück, Beeren sammeln, Fahrrad fahren, angeln, shopping in Östersund, Tierparkt besuchen usw.
