Hello! We are a Tunisian family of 4 (parents, and two kids aged 3 and 7). We live in El Mrog 1, Tunis, in a comfortable house with a small garden.
Our daily project: We are not a business, but an active family who loves playing, drawing, singing, and swimming. We are looking for volunteers (individuals or couples) who love children and enjoy playing with them. The help is not hard work; it's simply sharing daily recreational and educational activities with the kids.
Accommodation: We offer a private and comfortable room with a single bed, a shared bathroom, and access to the kitchen (main meals are provided).
Local attractions: Our area is very close to famous historical sites like Carthage Ruins and the beautiful blue-and-white village of Sidi Bou Said. The Mediterranean Sea is just a few minutes away by car. Public transport is easily accessible." -

We speak Arabic (Tunisian Derja) and French daily at home. We are very excited to practice and improve our English, German, and Italian with you. Our favorite way to exchange is naturally – during meals, beach outings, and playtime with our two kids (ages 3 and 7). We want our children to hear these languages through fun activities like singing, storytelling, and games. In return, we will be happy to teach you Tunisian Arabic and help you practice French. No formal lessons – just real, joyful conversations! -
Accommodation
We offer a private, comfortable room in our family home. The room has a real bed with fresh sheets, a wardrobe, and a window with natural light. You will share the bathroom with our family. We are a lively family with two young children (ages 3 and 7), so the house is full of cheerful energy during the day. You will have full access to the kitchen, living room, and our small garden. We respect your privacy and your quiet time, especially after 10 PM. We want you to feel at home – not like a guest in a hotel, but like a temporary member of our family!"

What else ...
Free time & transport:
· Our home is well-connected by public transport (buses and taxis are cheap and available 24/7). The nearest beach is only 15 minutes away by car.
· On your days off, we recommend visiting Sidi Bou Said (blue-and-white village), the ancient ruins of Carthage, or the lively markets of Tunis medina. We'll happily give you directions and tips!
House rules & lifestyle:
· We are an easy-going family, but we ask for mutual respect. Quiet hours start after 10 PM because of our young children.
· No smoking inside the house (smoking is allowed on the balcony).
· We eat together as a family – meals are at 1 PM and 8 PM. You are always welcome to join!
· We love a clean and tidy home, so we appreciate it if you keep your room and the shared bathroom neat.
One more thing:
We are looking for someone who genuinely loves spending time with children and enjoys a warm, family atmosphere. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!"* -
