    Description

We are a sustainable eco boutique hotel, retreat center, alternative school, and farm with a mission to regenerate the diversity of the forest and to connect our guests with the healing power of nature. We host retreats, trainings, ceremonies, run an art workshop for local women and an alternative school for children called Escuela del Agua (School of Water).

Opportunities depend on the current needs of the project. Some opportunities include teaching children in our alternative school, cooking for hotel clients, farming and permaculture, construction, fashion design and sales, administration & social media.

We receive a lot of demands, please note that we only accept Workawayers who can commit for a minimum of 3 months. Priority is given to those staying 6 months or more.

You will fit well into our project if you are: independent, comfortable in a nature immersion, initiative and a self-starter, organized, community-focused with a strong work ethic.

We are located in the UNESCO biosphere tropical reserve "Macizo de Peñas Blancas", Bosawas, Nicaragua.

If you have skills in carpentry, electricity, natural building, architecture, and general construction, we would appreciate your expertise here alongside our local workers.

    Permaculture & Gardening:
We are committed to growing and eating as much local food as we can. We are looking for volunteers with interest in taking care of the full life cycle of plants: planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, cultivating seeds, etc. Here we grow a variety of herbs, vegetables, fruit trees, and medicinal plants. Our aim is to integrate as many pure medicinal foods in our diet as possible.

Fashion & Jewelry Making - WORKSHOP: is a sustainable fashion brand that empowers local women’s creativity to make clothing and jewelry from upcycled materials. If you have experience in fashion design, sewing, jewelry making, branding, sales and social media, we would love your ideas in this initiative.

    Social Media Content & Administration:
