    Description

I moved onto the Quinta about a year and a half ago and have already restored and moved into one of the houses that was damaged in the 2017 wildfire. There is another house still to restore as well as several outbuildings and stables. We now have a small flock of sheep, chickens, and have established a productive organic vegetable garden.
We have an abundance of mature fruit (cherry, plum, apple, pear, pomegranate, fig, orange, lemon etc.) and nut trees, around 100 olive trees and over a kilometer of vines.
I really enjoy having volunteers to stay and am very grateful for the extra help they provide. There is some fencing to do, building restoration work, and forestry work, as well as the normal day to day duties of looking after the land, animals and garden etc.
Long term positions are possible for awake individuals/families who are interested in joining me to start a small sustainable and self sufficient community.
Easy going hard working fun loving conscious vibe.

Volunteers can now stay in a comfortable motorhome. There is also possibility of a room in the newly restored farmhouse which has a large kitchen, fireplace and logburner, washing machine etc. Great food is a passion and most meals will be prepared communally with help from all, or we take it in turns. Music is another passion and we have a studio set up for jamming, with a drum kit, keyboards and guitar, so any budding musicians most welcome.
