  Description

  We are a couple from a small village called Revonlahti. Revonlahti is about 60 km from the city of Oulu and 20 km from the town called Raahe. Our house is located right by the river Siikajoki. The distance to the nearest bus stop is 1,5 km and the connections to Oulu and to Raahe are quite ok.
  
  We mostly need some help with the household chores, such as cleaning. Summer time is te busiest season. We'd like help with lawn mowing, making firewood, fixing the dog fence and other work outdoors, Taking care of our four small dogs is certainly important, too. Two of the dogs have some health issues and therefore, they need some special care every day. Occasionally, we have some kids staying at us, so we hope you like to play and spend time with kids.
  
  In the summer and in the autumn, we pick wild berries and mushrooms and store them for the winter. It would be great, if you could join us to do that. We take our workawayers as our family members, so you won't be doing too many different things than we'd do ourselves. Arja likes to dance, so if you are able to teach any kind of social dancing, she would absolutely love that.
  
  We are quite flexible about the working hours as long as you negotiate with us beforehand if you won't be available. It's quite important to let us know about your timetable and plans, since it's not possible to leave the dogs alone for a very long time.
  
  As a conclusion, you'll be like a member of the family so we wish you'd also contribute to the common wellbeing and homey atmosphere. It's important for us that you also feel like home and have an enjoyable stay. If you feel you might like to stay with us for a while, please send us a message.

  We'd be glad to tell and teach you about the Finnish way of life and some Finnish traditions. We can also help you learn the Finnish language.

  Help

  Cleaning and tidying up at home, cooking, gardening. Keeping some company to the dogs, taking them for small walks, showering and brushing them. Helping us to grow vegetables, pick berries and mushrooms. Doing small tasks also in the summer house and at Arja's parents' home. Participating and helping in all tasks that come up. In normal life, there are many things, sometimes also some unexpected ones.
