    We are on a small rural lifestyle block, surrounded by 271ha native bush and hills. Just minutes up the hill from an active surf beach, Sandy Bay and 35 minute drive to Whangarei.. Two friendly dogs, cat, ducks, chooks and abundant gardens await your arrival to help out. Self-contained tiny home accommodation. Help with gardens, food processing and creative building and
    various other projects. Second week of February 2025 on. I teach local yoga classes you are welcome to join in.

    Shared meals, cooking, yoga classes, maybe forest walks and beach swims and working in our gardens full of abundant gratitude. Having lived and worked on yachts for 30 years we are well travelled adventurers moved ashore. Self sustaining lifestyle skills are in practice here, come and learn along with us.

    With the abundant gardens we grow with no spray and some biodynamic/organic leanings we have lots of gardens to tend, food to pick and process and good eating to do. We will work together on some projects sharing what we have learned. Other projects can be undertaken on your own. We can share some meals together, others you can help yourself from the gardens and prepare in your accommodation.

    Abundant gardens here supply organic fruit, veg and eggs, local meat also gets to the plate.. Some meals shared in the evenings, other times make your own.

    This coast abounds in lovely beaches for your time off, with surfing and diving opportunities and bush walks. Whangarei is 35 min drive away. We tend to wake up with the sun and go to bed early enough to do that. We eat whats local and in season.
