We are the idigenous community in Las Penitas, Poneloya, Nicaragua.
Group of families who want to learn how to organize projects, workshops. We want to finish construction of the house that we were given by the Communidad Indigena Sutiaba and organize preschool and workshops of crafts for our youths.
We live right at the Pacific ocean. Most of us are fishermen, we live of land and sea or have our little businesses. We are looking for self guided volounteers, who can help us organize ourselfs into the creative community or can help us organize workshops, preschool and finish the constuction of the house.
We are motivated and we ourselves are volounteers, but still we need the tools, knowhow and practice. We actually need some animation and kind of coaching.
For volounteers who want to stay with us, We provide the basic place to stay and nice family and tribe. The spokesperson for the moment is Dona Berta and Dona Yami, supported by Marianna, volounteer from Poland.
