I am a single parent (female) with a 12-year-old son and chocolate labrador. Our spacious 3 bedroom home is comfortable and is situated 130kms North of the Capital city of Adelaide. The Clare Valley is a well-known wine growing and farming region and our town is small but has everything you need. This is a great "getaway" quiet location but within one hour of the beach and under 2 hours from the main city plus the famous Flinders Ranges and Barossa are also great to visit. I am approaching a very busy time over the coming 6-8 weeks and need a hand to get me through, looking for someone to help out and in return, free room and food. Plus I'm willing to assist with learning English, and for the right person some computer work (training provided).

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Great location in a beautiful country town in South Australia (less than two hours) from the capital city of Adelaide. I live in the town itself, so getting around is easy if you don't have a car but own vehicle is recommended. We would be willing to assist with any study or learning and experiences, where possible. Workload will be light and flexible, so this will allow plenty of time for the person to do own study and touring around on own on days not required.
Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
General assistance with maintaining a house, washing, ironing, basic cooking and cleaning, weeding. Some computer work as well, which I can provide training on. Immediate start until middle December (or longer, if that suits the person).
A comfortable double bed in own bedroom with adjacent bathroom in our comfortable 3 bedroom home. (see photos). In return for help around the home, we will provide provisions for breakfast and lunch and dinner. Snacks and drinks at guests own expense. You will become part of our family for the duration.
What else ...
Guest needs to provide own transport due to distances needed to do own touring around. Flexible with days required, i.e. can work out own hours and this will allow plenty of time for touring other areas or study etc. If the Workaway person is travelling with a friend, then we may be able to find another host family who would accommodate them. The person must also like dogs, be tidy and considerate.
