We are school teachers who are experienced language teachers and love to help travellers. Our build is most unusual, being a hemp masonry structure with other recycled materials. It is situated in a most beautiful scenic location with a forest to the back and a large river to the front. It is in an area famous for tourism and is located 80kms south of Hobart, in Tasmania (Australia)

We are experienced English teachers and can help travellers with conversation English, or even academic English.
You could learn skills associated with building such as carpentry and hemp masonry.
You could learn about Australian culture and be given explanations of Australian slang.
Volunteers to be part of a team to fit internal walls (timber overlay) and ceilings as well as spreading mulch for future food growing and planting areas. We have completed the Hemp Masonry but it is still interesting to see how well it works as a building material, we have incorporated as much recycled or local material as possible and still have to fit the second hand kitchen, bath, doors etc that we have collected.
