Description
Hello there, my name is Katalin, I am a yoga instructor and launched my yoga studio located in the tropical garden of Hotel in Dambulla, Sri Lanka, in partnership with the hotel owner. As I am not in Sri Lanka all year round, we are keen to ensure the continuity of the yoga activity by extending the yoga teaching team. The project's name is a tribute to the many yellow birds nesting in the garden.

You will become part of this friendly team, local community people living in the surroundings, discovering the hidden side of local working, traditional cuisine, etc. You will get tips on the way to live there as a local, where to buy whatever you need, what to visit and when, with you own bicycle.
We are happy to exchange views on local customs and habits, yoga, meditation, Buddhism and many other topics as we are always curious about the way people live on this planet !

We are looking for a certified yoga instructor to start this summer.
The volunteer will play a supportive role by assisting the host with these responsibilities.

Accommodation
You will stay in the teacher's room (14 square meters), an independent studio made of one room and one bathroom (sink, shower, toilet). The room has one single bed, table and chair.
You will get free healthy and hearty breakfast every morning and will be able to cook your own meals upon request in the restaurant's kitchen.

Access to the hotel swimming pool is free.
A bicycle is at your disposal, riding to the city centre takes 10 minutes.
The magnificent Rangiri cave temple and its sleeping Buddhas is about 25 minutes walk.
You can easily reach Kandy or Anuradhapura by bus for a day outing.
