Description
"We are a small rural homestead nestled along the banks of the River Boyne near the historic Newgrange, in Rosnaree, Co. Meath. Our homestead includes vibrant vegetable gardens, beehives, a flourishing orchard, and a mix of chickens, ducks and geese that add life to the land. We're passionate about sustainability and often engage in a variety of interesting DIY projects, from eco-friendly builds to creative upcycling.
If you love nature, gardening, animals, or hands-on projects, our homestead offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in rural life. You'll have the chance to learn about organic gardening, help care for our animals, and participate in exciting DIY projects. Join us to experience the peaceful charm of living by the river while contributing to our sustainable way of life!".Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Living and sharing with the Family, we are multilingual. Our house is situated by the River Boyne in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Park and a short walk from Newgrange Visitor Centre, one of Irelands 'must see' tourist sights.
We love to grow and eat good food. We'd be delighted to share all our knowledge on organic gardening, harvesting, cooking and baking. We make jams, pickles and harvest honey from our bees.
We can also share our traditional building methods and DIY projects using ecological and salvaged materials.
In your free time, the local village of Slane offers an excellent coffee shop, pubs with traditional music evenings, sight seeing, historical walks and a museum.
Great opportunities for those interested in local history, river walks, photography, nature, art and all things vintage.Help
We would like help in the garden, harvesting fruit, feeding the animals and projects like building sheds, refurbishing areas, creating and landscaping, repairing and painting, and cutting and stacking fire wood.
We have Bees which are also very interesting to work with.Languages
