  • Description

This is a family-run agritourism with organic farm-orchard and touristic accommodations. We are on the hills in front of the Jonian sea in Calabria - South of Italy, in a very peacefull place but only 5 minutes far (by car) from city life.
We believe this is a small Paradise and we are glad to share it with openmind and sociable people but also hardworking ones!!!
We can host volunteers for about two weeks but you can always ask for availability and you can also come with your caravan (for July and August).

Travellers will be fully immerged in the environment and learn from all that Nature offers to us and from our organic approach: from jam, juices and honey production to the herbs laboratory where we prepare oleolites and alcoholates, the small olive cold-press for making extra-virgin olive oil, the winery, the wood oven, animal care.. discover dishes of our region and meet other travellers from all over the world!!! But, above all, by living this experience volunteers will be part of our project of Integral Education which considers the many developmental lines in a human being —cognitive, emotional, interpersonal, artistic, moral, spiritual and others...

  • Help

We ask our volunteers a commitment of 5 days for 5 hours a day.
We accept all kind of volunteers with no particular skills but it would be also great to host someone who could help us in improving our activities in the farm.

We would love to host people for help in our vegetable garden and with animal care all over the year and the same for handy people for the general maintenance of the estate.

For those who are particularly interested in agricultural work, here are our activities according to season:
    June: Wheat harvest
    September: almonds and grape harvest
    October: olive harvest, oil production
    November: pruning
    December / March: Citrus harvest
January / May: pruning trees and vineyards

Anyway, also artists are welcome and they will find a place where they will be surely inspired and with a lot of artistic job to do! (from video and photography to painting, creative laboratories with children... )

Please feel free to state your proposal and needs!!

  • Accommodation

Volunteers will be hosted in a shared house with private bedroom. Outdoor area available for caravans if required!
We offer you food for the breakfast and lunch that you can cook in the kitchen of the volunteers' house for your personal cooking or diet.

    What else ...

We will be happy to indicate sites to visit and help work out with transports depending on volunteer's interests.
Anyway they will surely enjoy the amazing landscape of this part of Calabria with its beautiful beaches, the Aspermonte Mountains and plentitude of historical sites.

The closest airport is Lamezia Terme (30 Km) and the closest train station is Catanzaro Lido at 4 km.

At the arrival, volunteers can either come by bus or train to Catanzaro Lido or a local pick up shuttle service can take volunteers from the airport straight to the farm.
