We are a multicultural and bilingual French/English speaking family owning and operating a medium sized ecolodge situated at the southern most point of Ghana, in Western region. We have a 5 years old daughter and a 1 and a half year old son. We achieve a sustainable lifestyle in a wide variety of ways including the use of solar and organic farming. Our construction focuses on the use of local and recycled materials combining traditional and innovative methods. Our location (the closest eco lodge to the center of the earth (4°N,2°W) allows us to use tourism to help protect sea turtles and the last remaining semi deciduous coastal forest in Ghana. We believe that responsibly minded private industry can lead the way to sustainable positive change in Ghana.

Help with Eco Projects
All volunteers will help hand in hand with our Ghanaian staff, having daily cultural interactions and lessons. Depending on what you end up doing you will also have the opportunity to learn about: organic/permaculture gardening, sustainable building, using upcycled materials, lodge management, cooking local dishes, language skills, surfing...
Thanks to our location, welcoming family and our team, we can offer you a unique opportunity to get involved. Through the integration of volunteers we connect local ideas with ones from abroad. We hope that in joining our team you will bring with you a knowledge base that adds to our team, while having the opportunity to learn something for yourself.
As an active family living in a remote place, we are looking for help in child care/teacher for our kids starting end of March. If the person is bilingual French/ English it's a plus. Teaching background and experience in home/un schooling method is a great benefit as well as kindergarden instructor.
We welcome people to apply with projects in mind as well as those loving varity of roles whether you are teaching yoga, sailing, helping in the farm, building, or helping to welcome our guests. Our eco lodge has always a project on the go for you.
Looking to come helping, you can expect to be having an experience that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
You'll have your own naturally ventilated bedroom with shared toilet and bathroom. Toilets are composting across the lodge and showers are bucket based. English speaking country full of history, surrounded by francophone countries with people from all of the world either living or visiting, Ghana is one of the most dynamic countries in West Africa.
There are many outdoor local activities that can be done at Cape Three Points and its surrounding. Various hiking trips, cycling, surfing, swimming, snorkeling and canoe rides on the mangroves are in close proximity.
