We are located 30 minutes from the town of Kamloops and 20 minutes from the small community of Logan Lake. Kamloops has all you need from Costco, shopping, coffee shops etc. Logan Lake is a small cute community with a grocery store, gas station, library, Recreational center and gym. gas station, pub and post office. It also has a small lake that you can catch fish out of with a walking trail around it. Although we may be close to some towns we have a unique setting where you feel peace and quiet and settled with the sounds of fishing jumping, loons calling and escaping the hustle and bustle of the city and traffic noise.
We have many guests over the summer and winter months and getting to know our guests and chat with them as well as our regular guests that come every year makes it feel like family. We also have hunting in our area during the fall months so it is interesting to learn the skills and traditions of others. During the fall months we need to supply our cabins with firewood for the winter to keep our cabins warm and have "wood days" where we all go out and split wood with our wood splitter's and haul back firewood with ATV'S and load the cabin decks. Lunch and snacks are provided along with many laughs and a fun filled day outdoors.
Our resort is all about families and getting back to nature and spending time together. We love getting to know our staff and treating our staff like family and getting to know them their stories and traditions.Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

What else ...
Having your own transportation is of great value for days off as we are usually very busy ourselves operating the resort daily but could plan some days in town for supplies should your own transportation not be available. There are no transportation options such as cabs or ubur in our area, there is car rental companies in Kamloops as well as the Kamloops airport. Kelowna, BC is a hour and a half drive and has many wineries available and Kamloops also has some wineries as well as craft brewing companies. Vancouver, BC is about 3.5 hour Drive from us and we have the Kamloops Shuswap Lake area that has plenty to see and great beaches. Clearwater area is about 2 and a half hour drive from us and has plenty of waterfalls and hiking trails. We are located very close to so many beautiful areas that can be explored on days off or you can stay put, relax, enjoy a campfire, go out for a fish and take a swim in the lake.
We do have our farm animals on site as well as many bunnies roaming freely around the resort so we do not allow pets at the resort for this reason. We do not allow drugs or partying, any visitors must be discussed with us first and permission given due to respect and privacy of staff and our business.A little more information

Our camping sites do not have hook-ups, power or sewer. Generators are not permitted at anytime and our campers use solar panels for power. During summer months there are two sets of washrooms with pay loonie showers available and a Sani dump is on site. Our camping season starts is May but can be very cool at night and during the day in the month of May. We close one set of washrooms after Thanksgiving and the outside water taps where you fill water jugs or holding tank are blown out for the winter months. Snow starts to fly in around Thanksgiving and we close our camping sites down until May as we do not plow them clear of snow.
