    Description

We moved into a derelict mansion six years ago. When we moved in two weeks before Christmas 2015 there was no bathrooms, no kitchens, no electric, in fact not even a water supply. All the pipes had been cut for the heating and the place was a sorry mess.
Since then we have worked and worked and got it up to the present condition.
We are now running out of steam and desperately need some help. Nigel is not in good health so needs to take a rest for a while.
At the start of covid we opened our home to people who needed a home. Not just somewhere to lodge for a few months but people who would love our home as much as we do.. Our home is now home to 6 of us.
Our main problem area is the gardens. With nearly 2 acres we are hoping to find some help during the summer months. We have just purchased a poly tunnel and experimenting on growing our own veggies.
When its rainy days we fill our time with getting more rooms ready for more people to have a home.
I love cooking so you will be well fed. We aren’t that fit so only want to work about four hours a day so the rest of the time is relax or fun time. We have five dogs, four cats, chickens and rabbits and a boat which takes up the rest of our days.
We live near the border of Northern Ireland with beautiful country side all around us. Public transport is terrible so you must have your own transport or hitch a lift off us if we are going your way.
Our rooms are large so perfect for two people.
