🐶We will currently start implementing canine training and communication with the support of a professional trainer and from whom you will be able to learn for free. 🐶

The volunteer is to live in Teopisca, Chiapas, included a space in the hostel shared with another person of the team, and internet.
We have a shelter with 30 dogs and 18 cats that we care for as part of our family, and we're looking for volunteers with a social and helpful spirit who want to make a difference by supporting this cause. 🐾
We're currently working on creating materials to raise awareness, give talks, develop productive projects, train dogs, and support the search for adoptions for the dogs we rescue. This involves using nets, dog walks, holding events, and other activities. We'll also create a new fence, enclose the entire perimeter of the shelter with wood, and create a new room.

Tenemos un albergue con 30 perros y 18 gatos los cuales cuidamos como parte de nuestra familia y buscamos voluntarios que tengan un espíritu social y de ayuda que quieran dejar una huella en su andar apoyando esta causa 🐾
Actualmente estamos trabajando en la elaboración de material para concientizar, dar pláticas, elaborar proyectos productivos, entrenamiento de perros y apoyar en búsqueda de adopciones para los perritos que rescatamos, que implica uso de redes, caminatas con perros, realizar eventos entre otras actividades, crear una valla nueva, cerrar con madera todo el perímetro del refugio, crear una nueva habitación
Nuestro pequeño refugio esta a 40 min de San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas en colectivo y tienes acceso a otros hermosos lugares naturales a una o dos horas para visitar en tus días libres.

The activities to be carried out are the following:
1. Walking dogs in the woods in groups of 2 to 3 dogs, usually two walks of one hour and fifteen minutes, cooking, feeding, and cleaning the spaces.
2. Internet/computer work: managing the website, managing Facebook and Instagram pages, designing dog adoption posters, promoting the foundation through social media (currently Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok), raising money through various means, and general administration.
3. We feed stray dogs every day.
The activities listed may vary depending on needs, except for daily walks, feeding the dogs, and daily cleaning.
Las actividades a realizar son las siguientes:
1. Pasear perros al bosque en grupos de 2 a 3 perritos, normalmente dos paseos de una hora quince minutos, cocinarles, dar de comer y limpiar los espacios.
2. Internet / trabajo de computadora: manejo de la página web, mover las páginas de face, instagram, diseñando los carteles para la adopción de perros, promoviendo la fundación a través de las redes sociales (actualmente Instagram y Facebook, Tiktok), recaudando dinero por diversos medios, administración en general.
3. Damos de comer a perros en condiciones de calle todos los días.
las actividades señaladas pueden variar dependiendo las necesidades, excepto los paseos diarios, alimentar a los perros y limpieza diaria.

Accommodation
The work and accommodations are located directly at the shelter in Teopisca, 40 minutes from San Cristóbal. We have a room in a small shared house where we keep our disabled dog, who needs physical rehabilitation, and it has a bathroom and shower. We are surrounded by nature, and the walks are to the forest, so if you are a nature and animal lover, you will love working with us and experiencing it.
We are looking for people who know what it's like to live with animals, as they have to be open to getting dirty, playing, and getting tired, so it's very important to be in good physical condition.
In the house, the room is private and there are no dogs. However, we ask that you keep the place clean and be flexible about the smells of the dogs and cats. In return, they will give you all their love and goodwill upon your arrival. They are incredible beings of love and intelligence.

El trabajo y el hospedaje es directamente en el refugio que queda en Teopisca, a 40 min. de San Cristóbal, contamos con una habitación en una casita pequeña compartida dónde tenemos a nuestra perrita con discapacidad quien necesita rehabilitación física y cuenta con baño y regadera. Estamos rodeados de naturaleza y los paseos son al bosque, por lo que si eres amante de la naturaleza y los animales, te va a encantar trabajar con nosotros y vivir la experiencia.
Buscamos personas que sepan lo que es convivir con animales pues tienen que estar abiertos a ensuciarse, a jugar, a cansarse, por lo que es muy importante tengas buena condición física.
En la casita el cuarto es privado y no hay perros, sin embargo te pedimos mantener limpio el lugar y ser flexible ante los olores de los perros y gatos, a cambio ellos te brindarán todo el cariño y buena voluntad recién llegues, son increíbles seres de amor e inteligencia.

San Cristóbal de las Casas is a multicultural place where you can do various activities, the city itself is a museum that has several venues, museums, textiles and culture.
You can visit nearby towns such as San Juan Chamula, Zinacantan, Chiapa de Corzo where you can take a boat ride through the Sumidero Canyon, being another magical town in the state of Chiapas; You can visit archaeological sites such as Palenque, Bonampak and Yáxchilan, as well as its cascades, lagoons and lakes.

San Cristóbal de las Casas es un lugar multicultural en donde podrán realizar diversas actividades, la ciudad en sí es un museo que cuenta con varios recintos, museos, textiles y cultura.
Podrás visitar los pueblos cercanos como San Juan Chamula, Zinacantán, Chiapa de Corzo donde podrás dar un paseo en lancha por el Cañón del Sumidero, siendo otro pueblo mágico del estado de Chiapas; podrás visitar las zonas arqueológicas como Palenque, Bonampak y Yáxchilan, así como sus cáscadas, lagunas y lagos.
