  We are Viennese entrepreneurs with cinemas and bars in Vienna and Lower Austria. Workawayers are very welcome at our new location in Reichenau an der Rax. The idea of bringing and expanding our gastronomic and cultural experience in a special place and also to find an alternative to the stress of the big city led us here.
  Our location is idyllically situated in the middle of a park with a tennis court and a small pond where we offer rowing boats. In addition to the gastronomic offer, we also organize cultural events.
  Reichenau an der Rax lies at the foot of Schneeberg (2,200m) and Rax (2,000m) and with its proximity to Vienna (60 minutes by train) is the ideal starting and finishing point for hiking and cycling tours.

  We are an international team with changing permanent staff. You can improve your German or learn German here. You can also learn how to cook with regional products or get training in bar and service customers. The benchmark is always the famous Austrian hospitality. We also offer a cultural program, mainly in summer and autumn. Our focus is on ecologically and human rights related topics. We also have lively contact with the farmers in the area. You can visit the farms and get to know the different ways of doing business in these quality companies.

  Help

  Reichenau an der Rax is located approx. 80 km from Vienna in a beautiful mountain landscape. It is a place with a long tradition for spa stays as well as art and cultural programs. Many famous Austrian scientists and artists have spent their summer retreats here since the 19th century (e.g. Sigmund Freud, Heimito von Doderer, Peter Altenberg, etc.). There are many sights from the former imperial era to visit.
  The main responsibilities for workawayers here are:
  1. Assistance in service and kitchen (serving guests, serving drinks, serving dishes, washing plates, cutlery, glasses) -
  2. Care of the rowing boats
  3. Working around the house
  4. Getting to know the surrounding mountains in order to be able to provide information.
  
  As an employer in the catering sector, we pay the standard hourly wage for each hour worked. Board and lodging are included. Without exception, you can only work with us with an appropriate work permit, which we can obtain for you in some cases. Every workawayer is insured with us from the start of work.
  Insofar as a 2-3 week training in the activities on site is required, we are looking for employees who have at least 10-12 weeks (2.5-3 months) to be with us in the period between April 2025 and September 2025.

  Reichenau an der Rax is also ideal for visiting the capital of Austria, Vienna. You can be there in less than an hour by train. Reichenau itself offers a variety of cultural events, especially theater in July. In summer, Reichenau also offers numerous spectacular bathing spots on the Schwarza, the river that flows through Reichenau.
