Over 18 years ago hitch hiking through the Yucatan Peninsula with our oldest son we encountered this piece of paradise. Veni, Vidi, Vici.
We are situated "off the grid" on the Costa Maya beach, 5 km south of Mahahual town, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
The Costa Maya is still a very natural environment with the 2nd largest barrier reef in front and a huge area of mangrove and wet lands behind. Divers paradise!
With the two of us we run a small cozy restaurant, open in the evenings where our international guests
come and enjoy a freshly prepared meal and good company.
Further more we have 2 rental units in our flower-full garden.
Our place runs fully on solar and wind power plus we catch our own rainwater.
If we meet or not we wish you safe travels.
All the best
