Description
My name is Sarah. I live in Catalonia, Spain in a tiny house. I have 2.75 hectares of olive grove with carob and almond trees. I am a native English speaker living in Spain. My family live in England. I have a camper van and a small garage room for extra accomodation. I am a vegetarian, have a lively medium sized dog and 5 chickens. I live in the mountain 20 minutes from the city of Tortosa, 25 minutes to the beaches of L'ampolla. There are many beautiful little villages inland. At my house I have an amazing view of the delta d'ebre (the rice fields and the sea). It's a wonderful stay for nature lovers, walkers, mountain bikers. Or even people who want to visit the area or want to have English conversation. My land is terraced with some high terraces. I am off grid, solar and a generator for higher consumption electric items such as hairdryers and hair straighteners. I harvest and filter rain water.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Learn how to prune olive trees and the olive oil process. We will do some dry stone walling, can learn about the civil war through trips and chats with my Catalan partner Jordi. We can chat in English to improve on language skills if desired. Learn about the wildlife in the area through walks. You can learn about the culture here. Many wonderful places to visit.
Help
I want to get on top of the land tasks and repair some terrace walls (no experience required). I also want to paint the outside of the campervan in a camouflage effect and make the outside of the van a beautiful space. I am currently making an outdoor cob oven and an outdoor bath. So lots of projects going on. In exchange for food, accomodation, use of 2 mountain bikes I would hope for 3 hours help a day. Or 21 hours help in a 7 day period.I can offer lifts to town when I go twice a day for short periods of work. Couples, friends as well as individuals welcome. Not more than 4 at any one time due to accomodation.
