If you have an opportunity to host Yoann, don’t miss it. He is one of those wonderful people you only meet a few times in your life.
Yoann’s stay of one week at my house extended to 4 weeks. During that time, he participated thoughtfully in all aspects of maintaining and running the house and took on the projects I had lined up, engaged with

It was easy to work together on projects. At other times, he worked independently on such things as painting door trim and railings, working in the garden, trimming trees, hauling soil, assisting workers who were renovating a patio area, washing windows, and household repairs and chores.
We shared our adventure stories at dinnertime and had a lot of laughs!
I feel lucky to have met such amazing people through WorkAway. They have absolutely made my life fuller, and I am so grateful for their help.

What a stay at Gail's place ! I couldn't dream better for a first Workaway experience. She did absolutely everything to give me the best experience in and around Gibsons. She introduced me to her friends and family. She is very active and we played table tennis, pickle ball, tennis, badminton. We went for a bike ride and hiking. I also sailed on

She will say to you it is a small place but it's nooot. The bedroom is lovely, nice light and nice view of the mountains. The house is close by the ocean and view from Gospel Rock is stunning. I fell in love with Gibsons when I cycled the Sunshine Coast after my bike trip from Montreal to Vancouver and it was such a pleasure to spend more time there. Obviously, we extended my stay there :)You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I had a wonderful week with Gail and Ted. Gail was extremely welcoming and made sure that I enjoyed my stay and saw all the best spots! Ted is the sweetest little guy and I loved our morning walks together. The work was fun and varied, and the room was so cosy with great views. I would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to explore the Sunshine

I had an absolutely wonderful stay with Gail! Gail is kind and warm, and never stops moving for very long. I loved spending time working in her garden and helping her fulfill her vision. Ted is the cutest little thing in the world, who would be so excited to see me in the morning that sometimes he would give a little awoo! He's such a sweet dog

I met some of her friends too and they were so welcoming, and great to chat to. I would return in a heart beat. Thanks a mill Gail! :)You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

What a pleasure it was to meet and to work with Catherine. As soon as I met her at the ferry, I knew it would be a great week. Ted, my dog, was so happy to have her as our guest and walking buddy! We completed garden and house projects planned for the week thanks to Catherine’s tenacious work ethic and calm manner.
Thank you, Catherine. I hope to

I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to have Vendulka stay in my home. Her energy and enthusiasm for life, travel, family, history and learning was inspiring! My house is not very big but Vendulka has a natural way of creating space for herself and for me. We had a lot of fun working on projects together (painting, building, figuring out the

I don't have words to describe how wonderful Gail is. She's an absolutely amazing person and Ted is the best dog ever. We had so much fun together and she really helped me improve my English. Gail, thank you so much for everything. I'm sure we'll see each other again soon!
