My name is Erez and my family is the 4th generation of farmers in the countryside Hefer Vally in the center of Israel near the sea and the cultural capital of our country, Tel Aviv.
Our vision is to create a small community of people who believe in:" here are good ships and wood ships, ships that sail the sea, but the best ships are friendships, may they always be!"
The farm is focused on wood projects such as tree rehabilitation and a Sawmill. Furthermore our areas of interest are getting larger every day and now days we are starting to create a small sheep herd and starting to work on various tourism projects (like family harvest of raspberry). Also we have blacksmith courses and eco stoves and ovens building projects.
our location is right in the center of Israel near the sea, Tel Aviv and the agriculture countryside. Additionally our farm include several young families, which from them our Volunteers will experience the Israeli culture and values.
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
The Volunteers' help will be focused on watching the sheep herd (mostly just staying around the herd) and nursing the lambs if needed. also we would like help in general gardening around our farm such as weeding pruning our various fruit trees. We welcome highly motivated and fast learning people with or without other skills.
