Hi! I’m Milica — a creative educator and mum to Nina, my joyful, imaginative and energetic 5‑year‑old.
We live in a beautiful and vibrant neighbourhood in central Vienna, with plenty of galleries, museums, libraries, and cosy cafés nearby. It's a wonderful area to explore, especially during the autumn and winter months.
If you genuinely enjoy being around children and have experience with pre-schoolers, you will feel at home with us. Nina is curious, expressive, and full of ideas — she loves crafts, design, drawing, singing, building, storytelling, and anything creative.
We’re looking for someone who is cheerful, responsible, and comfortable joining our family-style routine. If you are in some difficult life phase please consider some other type of workaway!!! Here is a child, she will learn from your behaviours, so we insist on positive, organised atmosphere, and proactive people who like to get up early.
You’ll stay with us in our flat like a member of family. We welcome both short and longer stays, but for us the most important thing is finding the right match. Since we share our home and daily life, we host only girls who genuinely feel compatible with our family and lifestyle.
As for the tasks, we are very easy-going and straightforward. During the interview, you will receive a clear schedule with specific times and expectations, so everything is transparent from the beginning.
We are looking for people who truly enjoy the Workaway spirit: cultural exchange, mutual respect, and being part of a family environment rather than simply looking for accommodation.
In our free time, we spend as much time outdoors as possible. Depending on the season and weather, we enjoy hiking, roller skating, ice skating, and exploring the city. Our guests are always welcome to join us if they wish, but there is absolutely no obligation.
Smoking, alcohol and the use of any kind of drugs — light or heavy — are strictly forbidden.
When you are with Nina, we prefer that the phone is not used or kept nearby. We value real presence and connection, so when you spend time with her, we appreciate that you are truly with her — playing, talking, creating and being engaged. -

We personally enjoy visiting galleries, exhibitions and cultural events, and our guests are always very welcome to join us! We would be delighted to explore the city together, share our favourite places and help you experience Vienna beyond the usual tourist attractions.
We love meeting people from different backgrounds, exchanging ideas and learning about different cultures and traditions. We hope your stay will be a lovely opportunity for mutual learning, meaningful conversations and shared experiences. -

What we’re looking for:
Someone who loves children and has experience with 5-year-olds
Open-minded, cheerful, and responsible
Comfortable waking up early (7 AM) and joining our family rhythm
Minimum stay: 1 week, but longer stays are also good, if we are good match.
5 days at week -5 hours, we plan a week in advance, with precise timetable and to do list and we respect your free time.
1.5-2h household help 5 days a week: helping to keep our home tidy and organised (most of time we will do it together), help with making meals, washing dishes, tidying up, cleaning.
Rest is 3h creative time with Nina during day when we make schedule. (on weekends more time with Nina than on weekdays, since she goes to kindergarten.
I prefer to make precise timetable with to do list and always take your important plans into consideration. -

Accommodation
We live in a cosy 42 m² two-room apartment in Vienna’s beautiful 6th district. Nina and I occupy one room when we are hosting, another one is for guest who will have a comfortable sleeping area with a huge sofa bed and dedicated space for personal belongings. The apartment has an open-plan kitchen, a bathroom and a separate toilet. Our home is warm, welcoming and ideally located for exploring Vienna.

We live in a beautiful and vibrant area of Vienna, within walking distance, you'll find galleries, museums, libraries, parks, and many lovely cafés. Vienna offers countless cultural activities throughout the year, making it a wonderful city to explore. You can also enjoy nature in case you like hiking, skiing, some amazing spots are easily reachable by public transport.
