Hi! I’m Milica, a creative educator and mom to Nina — a joyful, imaginative, and energetic 4.5-year-old. We live Vienna, but decided to spend winter in Novi Sad, Serbia, where we have a spacious two‑storey family house in central area.
We fully embrace the Workaway philosophy and love welcoming open-minded, kind-hearted people into our home. Our rhythm is simple and warm: we wake up early (around 7 AM), enjoy creative play, and spend weekends mostly outdoors. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being around children and has experience with preschoolers — ideally age 23+, optimistic, and comfortable with our family-style routine.
You’ll be part of our everyday life, and we hope you’ll feel like family while you’re here 💛

Nina and I are learning German at the moment, we would be happy to host German speaking people and to practice, but English is also fine. From cultural side, we will visit together galeries, museums, concerts, theatres, whatever we find interesting for all of us.

What we’re looking for:
Someone who loves children and has experience with 4.5-year-olds
Open-minded, cheerful, and responsible
Comfortable waking up early (7 AM) and joining our family rhythm
Minimum stay: 3 weeks, so we can build a meaningful connection
Weekend support with Nina:
Saturday & Sunday: 5 hours each day (morning + early evening)
Creative play, outdoor time, reading, drawing — whatever brings joy
Weekday support:
4 hours with Nina in and around the house from 10-14.
1h household help: washing dishes, tidying up, cleaning, chopping fruits & veggies
You’ll never be alone with Nina — I’m always nearby, just possibly working or resting.
I prefer to make precise timetable with to do list.

Accommodation
The house belonged to my grandmother, so the furniture is a bit traditional, but the space is very cozy, warm (central heating), and full of character. We have a lot of space here.
Workawayers have their own private room with a balcony, as well as access to a lovely yard. The house is located in a beautiful, quiet street — just 2 minutes from a park, 5 minutes from the local market, and about 15 minutes’ walk to the city center. It’s a perfect peaceful escape while still being close to everything.
We have a large kitchen and enjoy cooking healthy meals, and we’re happy to share food, recipes, and time together. You’ll have access to kitchen, and all household amenities. We value mutual respect, open communication, and creating a home-like atmosphere. We value comfort, flexibility, and mutual respect — and always make sure our guests feel relaxed, supported, and at home.

Novi Sad is a wonderful city to explore, and our neighborhood is one of the best starting points. We live right next to Futoški Park, a peaceful green oasis perfect for morning walks, jogging, or simply relaxing under the trees.
From our home, everything is within easy walking distance:
City center – about 15 minutes on foot, full of cafés, culture, and beautiful architecture
Futoška Market – only 5 minutes away, offering fresh fruits, vegetables, local products, and a lively atmosphere
Petrovaradin Fortress – one of the city’s highlights, perfect for sunsets, history lovers, and amazing views
Štrand beach on the Danube – a local favorite for swimming, sunbathing, or enjoying a coffee by the river
Novi Sad is calm, friendly, and full of small discoveries — cozy cafés, parks, museums, and local bakeries. It’s a perfect place for anyone who enjoys nature, culture, and a relaxed lifestyle.
