Description
Hi guys!
Update: I would like to find a language buddy for the following months. As a language teacher it's very important for me to keep practicing. I would like to converse in English and German and I could teach you Italian :)
I am Italian, from Piacenza (near Milan), and I've been an AuPair and Workawayer for a total of four times in the UK, Ireland and France both in rural and in city contexts.
My goal with Workaway is to learn new things, help, explore and most importantly find a community to share new experiences with (I am very sociable).
I am hard-working, resposible and flexible. Tasks I can easily manage are: cleaning, cooking (thank you nonna :) ), gardening, taking care of people and animals, teaching Italian, English and German. I am open to learning and offering any kind of help.
I love nature, hiking, animals, being around people, being stimulated, staying active, teaching (in Italy I'm an English teacher for secondary school).
I care about the environment and I hate it when people waste food, water and energy. With my aunt I often go to the local river and clean it.
When I was a child, my family used to go to our country home in the province of Piacenza and there I had fun helping in the vegetable garden, making jam and tomato sauce, harvesting grapes and olives to make wine and olive oil, helping my mum who is a beekeeper.
I am fluent in Italian (native), English and German. I understand Spanish and French and I can speak them a little.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day! :) -
