    Description

Please note we are only looking for an Au Pair/Groom for the Winter.
We will begin live shows again this summer. So we will have the other positions open from the late Spring
I look forward to hearing from you,
    Sophie
Hi, we are a family based stunt team situated in the beautiful Scottish Borders. We set up our business in 2008 after 9 years living in France and doing our horse entertainment/circus/re-enactment shows. Jake & family moved back to the Scottish Borders to start Les Amis Stunt Team!

There are 4 full time members in our team who live and work on our farm. We are a group of people motivated to work hard to create a successful business. Jake and his partner Sophie have two young children who also live on the farm. Sophie is home educating her 2 children, following in their fathers footsteps of being home-ed. We are vegetarian and don't smoke, people are most welcome when they are similar to us. Anyone who comes to stay will find a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

We have horses, dogs, a sheep, a goat, chickens and cats. Part of your job as a helper would be to help look after all our animals.

We do our horse shows all over the UK and Ireland mainly in the summer months, the shows include lots of different skills including jousting, combat, fire breathing, circus tricks, dressage, stunt riding, dog training, live music and much more! Our shows are set to music and include costumes and props made by us.

I would please like to ask people only to commit if you will definitely turn up, I am putting this note due to having a couple of people not turn up a few summers ago. The really sad thing is that I have had to turn other people away because the space to all intent & purpose was taken. Please tell us in advance if your plans have changed, as I understand this can happen.

We love to meet new people and hear about their lives and the places they have travelled, we all work hard and have a good laugh while we are at it.

We currently are looking for 3 people to join our team over the summer months (June-September)
    1) Au Pair/Groom- Help with child care, house work & with show jobs
    2) Head workawayer - After initial induction you would be in charge of other workawayers & their jobs.
The above 2 positions would be ideally longer term, either from June-September or minimum 2 months after initial 2 week trial.
    3) Workawayer- shorter term position for someone who can help out & get involved with our team.
Get in touch for full information.

Please come along and get involved!

All of our trainers and performers love sharing their knowledge with people and answering any questions you may have about performance, animal care & running your own business.
We do also offer free lessons to our workawayers!
