    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are a family that has lived in several countries around the world. We enjoy exchanging experiences with people from different cultures. We can offer a lot of knowledge about rural movements around the world and also some knowledge about eco-building (applied by renovating houses). We live in an area that is still very rural (by Western European standards), but Rome is easily accessible within an hour by public transport. We are part of collective food self-production projects.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We live in a two-storey farmhouse. On the first floor is our house. On the ground floor there is a studio apartment with a bathroom and kitchenette, which will be at the guest's disposal.

Opposite the house is a bus stop to the nearest station (10 km away), from where direct trains to Rome leave every half hour.
There are plenty of walks in the surrounding area in the mountains or countryside and also cycling, if you are well trained. The area is full of charming medieval villages.
We have already hosted people, we like to be together during meals, but not necessarily every day (for this reason we propose independent accommodation): we seek sharing but also autonomy.
