Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are a family that has lived in several countries around the world. We enjoy exchanging experiences with people from different cultures. We can offer a lot of knowledge about rural movements around the world and also some knowledge about eco-building (applied by renovating houses). We live in an area that is still very rural (by Western European standards), but Rome is easily accessible within an hour by public transport. We are part of collective food self-production projects.

Help
We are looking for people to help us take care of our garden and house. Native speakers of German are welcome to talk to our children, who are growing up bilingual. We also welcome people who can offer artistic and creative activities for adults and children.
Preferrably non smokers

We're looking for hosts that speak German or French. German would be perfect to speak with our children.
Accommodation
We live in a two-storey farmhouse. On the first floor is our house. On the ground floor there is a studio apartment with a bathroom and kitchenette, which will be at the guest's disposal.

What else ...
Opposite the house is a bus stop to the nearest station (10 km away), from where direct trains to Rome leave every half hour.
There are plenty of walks in the surrounding area in the mountains or countryside and also cycling, if you are well trained. The area is full of charming medieval villages.
We have already hosted people, we like to be together during meals, but not necessarily every day (for this reason we propose independent accommodation): we seek sharing but also autonomy.
