  Hello! 😊
  I'm Kati, a mum of three wonderful children (6 and 4-year-old twins), a friendly dog, and the owner of an old house in a small town in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
  Our home is surrounded by forests, meadows and nature. We love spending time outdoors, exploring, gardening, making art, building things and discovering the world together.
  Life here is sometimes busy, sometimes wonderfully chaotic, but always warm and welcoming. I enjoy good conversations, creativity and learning from other cultures.
  I'm looking for kind, open-minded people who enjoy family life and would like to become part of our everyday adventures for a while. There are always little projects around the house and garden, but there is also plenty of time to relax, explore the beautiful surroundings or simply enjoy nature.
  If you like children, animals, creativity and don't mind a little bit of happy chaos, you will probably feel at home here.

  I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and learning from each other. I love hearing about your home country, traditions, food and experiences, and I'm always happy to share life in Germany with you.
  As I'm a full-time mum of three young children, family life naturally comes first. Because of that, I'm looking for independent, easy-going people who are happy to organise much of their own day. We can share meals, have good conversations, explore the area together or work on projects, but there will also be plenty of time where everyone simply does their own thing.
  If you enjoy nature, creativity, meaningful conversations and a relaxed atmosphere, I think you'll feel comfortable here. I don't expect you to entertain us, and I hope you don't expect us to entertain you all day either. 😊
  I believe the best cultural exchange happens naturally: cooking together, working side by side, sharing stories, laughing with the children, or ending the day with a cup of tea in the garden.
  Curious, kind and self-motivated people will probably enjoy their stay here the most.

  There are always plenty of different projects, so you can help with whatever you enjoy most. 😊
  At the moment, one of my biggest projects is preparing a level area in the garden for our swimming pool. If you enjoy digging or outdoor tasks, I would really appreciate your help!
  Besides that, there is always something to do around the house and garden: gardening, painting, simple creative DIY projects, cooking together, light help around the house, organising children's toys and clothes, or helping to make our old home even more beautiful.
  You don't need to be an expert. A positive attitude, reliability and enjoying helping together are much more important than experience. We are happy to teach you anything you don't already know.

  Accommodation

  You will have your own private space on the top floor of our house. It includes a bedroom, a private bathroom and an older but functional kitchen, so you can prepare your own meals whenever you like. The view over the surrounding hills and trees is beautiful, and it's a peaceful place to relax after a day of work or exploring the area.
  Of course, you're always welcome to join us for coffee, meals or conversations whenever it fits into our family life.
