Description
Hospitality, Yoga, Meditation and well-being experienced volunteers super welcome at our beachfront guest house project - hosting guests, garden/beach care, yoga practice/teaching and enjoy our stunning, remote Cambodian Island.
We love Cambodia and especially our local community on Koh Rong Sanloem island. The island has 8 stunning beaches, no roads, 98% virgin jungle. You enjoy nature around from sunrise to sunsets, and the stars at night.
We enjoy bioluminescent plankton in the water in front, Cambodia's best coral reefs for Scuba/ Snorkelling 5 mins boat ride away, beach and jungle treks, day till sunset boat trips with guests, SUP/Kayak are available. Life on the beach, by the ocean with swimming, coconut shade, waves lapping and being part of a great team. Enjoying the life and doing your bit to help things run well and be fun for all.
The hotel/guest house has been running since 2015. Until the pandemic the volunteer crew was at least 4, often couples, but solo travellers with skills and passion works great too. We do ask min 3 week, and love it if people settle in for longer.
Our guest house supports it's local community through employment, beach cleans, community projects, as well as a medical post for locals, built as an earlier project for this community.
We are now looking for volunteers as we re-build and expand our core crew of like minded - kind, gentle, creative, beach loving, especially those who are mindful, practice/teach yoga, meditation and vibes of well-being. As we develop this element more.
Remote island life is wonderful and amazing, it's also a routine we share and get done between us, and enjoy.
So all pull their weight, and all support each other - like a beach family do! ;-)Types of help and learning opportunities

M'Pai Bay is Koh Rong Samloem Island's village. Originally a traditional Khmer fishing village, it makes for a wonderful tourist and living experience; where visitors can blend into local life, with markets & children heading to school. All surrounded by amazing sunrises, sunsets and beautiful tropical nature. The Cambodian community is 250-300 islanders - and they are lovely ;-)
