Hi, if you are a vegan or vegetarian nature lover who enjoys to be in peaceful and quiet surroundings you are welcome to stay at my little piece of paradise in beautiful Boquete, Panama.
My name is Luis, I'm a local Panamanian who loves and respects nature and wants to leave a positive mark on this planet. I grew up in the city but eventually moved to this small town where I take care of a family property with a very nice and comfortable house surrounded by trees.
I'm always making small improvements to the house, building something, or making art with leftover pieces of wood. I really appreciate when someone helps me with the cooking/cleaning/gardening part so I can focus all my energy and attention to the work at hand.
I usually buy the ingredients for lunch and dinner and we each take care of our breakfasts.
Please read the profile and reviews to understand better what it's like here, this place is not for everyone. It is super quiet and relaxing, perfect if you want to slow down and connect with nature.
You must enjoy hiking and be in good shape. Getting around in Boquete is a workout. From the house it is a 30 minute hike down to town, and 40 min hike up to get back. Town is at 1100 mts above sea level, house at 1300 mts. There are plenty of beautiful nature hikes around.

Boquete is one of the top adventure travel destinations in Central America. Temperature is like AC year-round, perfect for hiking in the lush green fairy tale looking cloudforest. There are also small farms everywhere producing high quality coffee.
Most travelers will find it easy to get to Boquete. And once here the town is small and easy to figure out. One important thing to point out is that being a mountain town, there are lots of hills so walking on flat terrain is rare. If you are in good shape and enjoy hiking, you will love it here, if not, then this might not be the right place for you.
There are stores to buy essentials close to the house, otherwise the town center is 30-40 minutes walking with supermarkets, internet cafes, public library, and farmer market where you can find a great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, and because it is a top travel destination, tour operators, restaurants, and a few bars.
This host has indicated that they love having digital nomads stay.
