Description
Hi, we live in the northern part of Malawi, in nature, very green and peaceful. There are two dogs, medium size, they love to walk, we go on a daily basis for about 10 km. The area is in the north of Malawi, between Mzuzu and Nkhata Bay, where the lake is. Mzuzu is where shops, restaurants is, 12 km away, tits easy to go with public transport and I go there regularly by car, so you can have a ride. There is lots of things to do in the area, incl. swimming & snorkling, boating, hiking .
We work in the vegetable & fruit garden, organic and permaculture based, we have chicken, you can learn from us, as well as a few languages if you want. Most important is that we have a click and that you enjoy being with us.

We work in the vegetable, herb and fruit garden organic and permaculture based, so you can learn about that. We have lived and worked in many countries, so we have lots of cultural stories and experiences to share with you, lots of ideas for traveling in Africa as well.
We speak a few languages, so you can choose which ones to learn, if you want to, incl. Thumbuka and Chichewa.
Help
we are looking for people who are positive, internally motivated to work, open to learn about new things, are culturally sensitive, who love nature and don't have to be entertained the whole time, no partying at the premises. And most important dog lovers, as the dogs also want some attention. We are looking for help with the vegetable & fruit garden, planting, clearing weeds, making new plant beds, watering, developing a herb and flower garden, starting to keep bees, also some caring for the dogs, incl. walking and feeding. If possible, we would enjoy someone who is good in baking bread and cakes. You are welcome to join as a volunteer in projects. We work with some experimenting and environmentally friendly activities, like moringa leaves, bee keeping,

Accommodation
Accommodation is in a private room, and use of bathroom, there is a communal kitchen and living room. We will share the evening meal together (vegetarian or vegan is no problem) and we can provide some ingredients for the other meals or share as well, vegetables, fruit, eggs from the garden. You can share rides with us when we go somewhere, so you will be a bit mobile as well.
What else ...
Time off is always easy and you can enjoy the area . Transport by public transport or on a regular basis you can have a ride by car with us, where you want to go. For example once per week to Mzuzu. There are beautiful walks in the area in Kaningina forestry .

The are lock very quiet but I found new friends and spend the 3 weeks alone doing nice walks, having good conversation with the neighbors and doing some weeding between the rain.
