    Description

Set 450m up a coastal escarpment, our 40 acre property is essentially a private slice of a national park. My partner and I were lucky enough to purchase it 4 years ago and have been working to open it up for many more people to enjoy. There’s a lot of work to keep out invasive species, maintain fire trails and support endangered species. We are fully off grid but highly advanced technologically. It’s 20min from town, 30min from some of the best surf in NSW and only 1.5 hours from Sydney.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

I've lived and worked across Asia, Europe, Russia and the US as a technology consultant and now I'm applying those skills to making this property self sustaining. You can learn about entrepreneurship, marketing, creating services people are happy to pay for - all while minimising financial risk.

    Help

We’re looking for people willing to do whatever needs doing. That ranges from caring for our chickens, clearing fallen trees, maintaining fire trails that are continually washed away, monitoring and removing invasive species that threaten endangered plants and animals. Special projects include creating a gourmet mushroom grow room, expanding our sustainable greenhouse, extending outdoor wifi coverage and extending our solar powered tree lights.

We operate 11 camp sites but you won't be required to to help with that in any way.

If you’re interested in learning about sustainable off grid technology, this is a terrific opportunity to live it.
