Description
Hi, we are a welcoming family, we like to travel, we are not good at speaking English so we have the desire to host a native English speaker who can help our children become good at speaking English and who can help them with their homework. We provide room and board, every morning free, and two days free a week. We are available to host for a period of 3 weeks. In exchange we ask for conversation in English with all members of the family, especially the children, help with homework and availability to prepare lunch and collect the youngest member of the family from the minibus. We ask that the worker be male, non-vegan, non-smoker and non-gluten intolerant The family is made up of 2 parents and 3 sons (16 years old, 14 years old and 5 years old). The parents work in Chiavari (mother social worker, father lift technician), the older children are busy at school until 1pm, the little one until 3.30pm. The grown-up children study one at a science high school and the other a human sciences high school, both play basketball and train in the evenings. We have dinner around 8.30pm. The child attends nursery school and is picked up and brought back to his home in the school bus. We live in a detached house on 3 levels, in the countryside, with a vegetable garden and chickens and a cat, large outdoor area and barbecue. Of course there is Wi-Fi. We provide a personal room for guest. In the house there are
2 bathrooms, one on each floor. On the ground floor garage and parking space. The house is located 7 minutes by car from the first bus stop, there is the availability of the bus service which must be booked a day in advance and arrives 5 minutes on foot from home. As a family we are available to arrange accompaniments based on everyone's commitments. In 20 minutes by car (or 50 minutes on foot + bus) you arrive at the sea and in Chiavari from there by train you can reach Genoa, Portofino, 5Terre..... We ask the workawayer to take care of insurance and health coverage, the details must be declared to the local police at the beginning of the stay in Italy. In case of incompatibility you are free to leave the house.

My family really likes traveling and learning about new cultures. During her free time, mother likes to cook local dishes (fresh pasta, pizza, desserts...) and in his free time, father is busy working in the garden (also helped by grandfather), taking care of the chickens and the cat. during the weekend we are busy accompanying our children to basketball games, even outside the area, we hang out with friends, and we happily host for dinners, having an electric oven, wood and barbecue.

Accommodation
We offer an individual, small room. In the house there are three bathrooms, one on each level (on the ground level there is a garage and parking space). The house has a kitchen, a living room, a mezzanine and three other bedrooms, in addition to the workawayer's room. There is Wi-Fi and outdoor spaces, courtyard with basketball hoop, garden, terrace and veranda, as well as terraces for cultivation. In the area there are vineyards and olive groves and other crops (vegetables and broad beans).
We provide linen, washing equipment, kitchen use and household appliances (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher). Two bathrooms with shower and one with hydromassage tub.
Three meals a day provided.
