We are looking for help - preferably a couple - for this summer, for the months June, July and August!

Bom dia!
We are a young family from Belgium: Thomas (42), Evelyne (38), Tippi (8), Bonnie (5) and our twin boys Nalú & Pehuén (1). Almost 7 years ago we bought a piece of land in Sao Luis, Alentejo and started digging into our dreams! We build a beautiful double yurt in which we lived for 6 years, a big event/ceremonial space on the top of our land, planted hundreds of trees, created many terraces, paths, sitting spots and many more landscape treasures and finally build a house for our ever expanding family!
We are both passionate (but not professionals!) about permaculture, natural building, healthy food, sustainability, reforestation, plant medicines and creating a more natural, harmonious and grateful way of living for our children and ourselves.
We try to live life day by day and to accept and learn from whatever comes our way! (with varying degrees of success ;))

We are living on walking distance from Sao Luis, a little town in the middle of an area full of people trying to create similar ways of living. There are a lot of permaculture projects, flea markets, events, parties and lots of openminded, fun people around! The ocean is only 14km away where you can surf, hike or lay on the beach as much as you want :)

Help
We need lots of help with our children (since it's summer holidays and all 4 of them are home :)), to water the plants, maintain the veggie garden, continue the never ending job of landscaping and making the land look even more pretty , refreshing structures like the deck and the bathroom of the yurts, feeding the animals and many more!
We are really looking for a commitment of 3 months preferably, we don't want to change volunteers every few weeks!
We ask for 4 hours of work a day! 5 days a week.

Accommodation
We offer our beautiful and very comfy double yurt with amazing views, you can enjoy the sunrise in the valley every morning when you open your door!
We can also have some healthy veggies from the garden and eggs from our chicken. Other food you will have to provide yourself (but the cost of living in Portugal is quite low!)
What else ...
With your time of you can explore the area, there are many amazing beaches all along the coast (which is a protection nature park), as well as lots of well marked walking trails. And you can meet other people on the many events, ceremonies, workshops, courses, parties and other gatherings organized in the region!
