  Description

  We are a small family (two parents, our daughter and two dogs) living in a beautiful area of Southern Bavaria very close to a lake and not far from the Alps. We are inviting you to become a part of our family and to enjoy everything our region has to offer: Nature (hiking, swimming, SUP, cycling, mountain biking,…), culture in a city (Munich is only 1 hour by train) as well as typical Bavarian festivities just outside your door.
  We love living here (we moved here intentionally about 7 years ago) and are happy to share our insider tips with you :)
  
  Our family consists of:
  - Britta, almost 40, former career woman and now mother “from the heart”, working towards a fully self-determined life
  - My husband Tino, 54, banker working (mostly) from home office
  - Our daughter (3,5), who were raising without kindergarten or other external care. She loves being outside in nature and playing all day long :)
  - Our two dogs, both boys, former rescue dogs, the size of 15 and 25 kg (just so you get an idea - no Chihuahua but no German Mastiff either ;)).

  We are happy to welcome you to all our activities and trips! Brittas community/friends meet regularly and are always happy to meet new people. In case you would like to join a choir / Bavarian brass band / sports group… we are confident to make that work :)
  
  We would love to learn about your culture, your way of living, your way of cooking (as long as it’s possible to be vegan-ized… 🙃) etc etc and if you are interested, Britta can work with you to improve your German or we can organize „tandem nights“ where we teach each other our mother tongue…
  
  We are interested in your vision for your life, in your dreams and how you look at the world!

  Help

  We would love to host someone who is willing to spend time with our daughter as well as support with daily duties at home (doing groceries, cooking) or in the garden - although we would like to plan that individually depending on your preferences and skills. Also we have had the plan for some time to re-make our daughter’s room but haven’t found the time by now…
  Because on of our dogs is very scepticsl towards men, we would prefer a female workawayer to stay with us.

  Accommodation

  We offer you a separate room in our house (about 25 m2) with a large bed (1,8x2m), wardrobe and desk. We share one bathroom plus an additional separate WC.
  
  Since we are vegan, we would very much appreciate it if you were living vegan too or at least vegetarian since this is not only a way of eating/cooking but influences also how we talk about or deal with animals in general, especially in regards to our daughter.
  We usually share three meals a day as a family, usually we cook fresh for lunch. You don’t „have to“ participate in all three of course ;) but sharing the work for lunch preparation would be highly appreciated.

  What else ...

  Our region has a lot to offer and we are happy to share our car, scooter, bikes, SUP and folding boat with you! ☺️ There is an on-demand bus for short distances and the train station with connections to Munich as well as Garmisch-Partenkirchen is only about 1 km away.
  
  Important to us: No smoking, no (heavy) alcohol use, no drugs. Our daughter gets up very early so our day usually finishes at 11pm the latest - it would be good if that could be kind of your timing as well (not to the minute of course 😉).
  
  We raise our daughter in a way that comes probably closest to the concept of attachment parenting. This includes no punishments, no „artificial consequences“, no manipulating praise… but instead a strong focus on her individual development, understanding the level she is currently at, room for her to unfold her potential, discover her interests and simply be a part of our everyday life. It is important to us that you at least have an idea of what that means and in the best cas feel the same about accompanying children. Of course we‘re also here for you to understand more about it and learn yourself.
