Description
This is a description of the farm. I live on an organic farm goats, one horses, sheep, and hens. I grow my own vegetables as much as possibe. I am also vegetarian and can accomodate two people in a comfortable sleep out and are close to the Abel Tasman National Park. The farm is quite isolated, so we would prefer our helpers had their own transport, but that's not essential, but what is essential is a sense of humour! The farm includes a 400 tree olive grove and the olives are picked inJune/july. I am setting aside part of the farm for growing native trees, and always have varied projects on the go. I am quite new on this site but have been hosting on other sites for the last 19 years. Non smokers only.

Picking Olives in June/July by hand on sunny days with wonderful views of the mountains. Varied animal husbandry tasks like feeding the goats, sheep and horses hay, and cleaning out their sheds. Vegetable gardening, which includes weeding and planting out. Wood chopping for those able and small building projects, plus hay making in the summer.

Accommodation
Comfortable self contained sleep out. As I am vegetarians, I expect helpers to respect that, and not to bring any meat onto the farm.
I ask that volunteers provide their own breakfast and all other meals will be provided and taken with me. Help with preparation and clearing up would be appreciated. The photos are of the sleep out.A little more information
