We’re looking for a responsible, dependable person (or couple) to stay in our comfortable Anchorage home from:

This is a great opportunity for someone wanting a clean, comfortable home base in Anchorage in exchange for light house sitting and minimal cat care.

The snowy landscape, mountain views, northern lights, and easy access to outdoor adventure create an unforgettable Alaska winter experience while still offering the convenience of a modern city.
Ski trails and Fat Tire Biking trails are only 25 yards from our home.

I’d like to learn Spanish - I do have some background as I lived in Argentina but that was many years ago and I want to improve.
Accommodation
Our home has been fully remodeled and thoughtfully updated with comfort and modern living in mind. The house features beautifully renovated bedrooms and bathrooms along with a brand-new high-end kitchen equipped with modern appliances, upgraded finishes, and everything needed to cook and enjoy meals at home. While you’ll be responsible for providing your own food and groceries, you’ll have full access to the spacious modern kitchen and all appliances during your stay. The home is clean, comfortable, and designed to be an inviting place to relax and enjoy an Alaska winter.

Anchorage offers a unique winter experience with endless opportunities to stay active and explore Alaska. Popular winter activities include Nordic skiing, downhill skiing, fat biking, snowshoeing, hiking, ice skating, visiting local breweries and coffee shops, live music, and enjoying the incredible mountain scenery and occasional northern lights displays. Our home is centrally located in Midtown near UAA and Providence Hospital with easy access to trails, grocery stores, restaurants, gyms, and shopping.
Having a vehicle is strongly recommended during the winter, although Anchorage does offer Uber, Lyft, taxis, and public transportation with a bus stop only 1 block from the home. Roads are maintained throughout winter, but comfort driving in snow and winter conditions is important.
We live a fairly quiet, clean, and respectful lifestyle and are looking for someone who will treat the home the same way. This is not a party house. We ask that the home be kept reasonably clean, that Peanut receives daily care and attention, and that guests respect neighbors and the property. No smoking, no dogs or outside pets, and no additional guests.
