This is a collective of people in Puerto Rico, working with multiple organizations to empower local families to recover. My name is Carlos, and together with my British wife Catherine (and our 3 children) we host teams and lead this wonderful work.

We are on the ground, working side by side with communities who are struggling, but hungry to work and recover. Our work is in Vega Alta and the surrounding towns. It's close enough to the San Juan area and the mountain region. It's a beach town with great personality and a lot of need still. We work directly with local leaders and workers and eat amazing food every day (usually cooked by the families we are assisting). There is nothing like the hot sun, a new rood for a family, and a shared meal.
We are a non-profit organization hosting teams even month to do home reconstruction in Puerto Rico. We are assisting single mothers and elderly people who are still living under blue tarps since Hurricane Maria. Most of the work is roofing (wood and sheet metal) plus painting, concrete structures, delivery of furniture and clean up.
We provide an apartment close to the ocean with a comfy bed, internet, and daily meals.
What else ...
There is so much do to in Puerto Rico. You can visit the rainforest, go kayaking in the ocean, stroll the hundreds of beaches or just divine through the mountains and enjoy the local delights. Part of what we do is host teams and take them around the island, so there is always opportunities to join the fun.
