    Description

Hi! 👋 We are Jan, Susan, and sometimes our son Rasmus, living in the peaceful Danish countryside with 3 dogs, 1 cat, and many other friendly animals. 🐕 🐈

🏡 We have a big house and a big piece of land (9.3 ha ≈ 23 acres), which requires a lot to maintain. Jan always has new projects on the way to make the place even nicer to live in. 🔨

🌱 We moved here in July 2022 to create our dream home; there's never a shortage of projects or things to enjoy!

🐾 We love animals and have many friendly pets, and they're excited to meet you!

🐕 Everyday we walk around the grounds with our 3 dogs and 1 cat, and they all love to accompany us the whole way.

🔍 We are looking for two responsible adults (preferably with a car) to share countryside life with us and help with general maintenance around our home.

🌾 We'd love to have you here to help us around the countryside and enjoy the birds whistling and the fresh air.

    Dates
We'd love company from May 23 – July 5 (week 27). Possibly through July 12, but we will be on a road trip for 1 week.

Things we could use a hand with -
The activities are mostly outdoors, but largely under cover:

🐾 Spending time with our dogs (walks, play, company)
🔥 Helping fill up the firewood shed
🎨 Possibly painting the house facade
    🍳 Cooking/making salads together
🛏️ Helping tidy up when family or friends come to visit

Who we'd love to share our home with

✅ Preferably a couple - we have a guest room, so you would need to share a bed
✅ Someone with a driver's license - and preferably your own car, but you could borrow ours
✅ Must be able to speak conversational English
✅ You should love dogs and cats - we have both!
    ✅ Responsible, mature, and proactive
✅ No guide included - you should feel at home and notice things to do yourself
✅ Enjoy both hands-on activities and peaceful downtime

    What we share with you

🔥 Sauna every Monday & Wednesday
🚗 Possible use of our car, but we prefer someone who has their own
🍽️ Food minimum 3 times per day
🛏️ Your own bedroom on the first floor, plus welcome to use our shelter
🚿 Bathroom with shower on both the first floor and ground floor
🌳 Surrounded by nature, yet close to charming Danish towns
🥤 Always soda, sparkling water, beer, etc. available for you to enjoy
