Jeanne was in our house only for 10 days, but she managed to organize my chaotic kitchen at once, cooked very special meals and served snacks in wonderful forms to our friends. Moreover she treated our horses in the best way you can imagine. Her life story sounded very interesting to us, and she is a wonderful person, very adaptable to family life

Hello Heike, Frank & Lucas, thank you so much for the 10 days I was able to spend with you. I had such a good time at your home and really enjoyed my tasks which included looking after the animals, mainly horses, cooking and giving some german lessons in Heike's Kulturzentrum. Also I would like to thank you for all your engagement in showing me

Robin literally 'felt from the sky' into our house and we had a really great time with him. He is very smart and helpful, also correct always prepared to offer a tea, meal or warm water bottle for my sick back !!! The cultural exchange was very interesting, especially for son Lucas !! He seems to adapt easily to every situation and is always of

I spend the most fantastic two and a bit weeks with the here. I was originally not planning on doing a WorkAway in the north of Argentina but by pure chance (and luck) this changed and I am so grateful that it did. I leave feeling as if I am a part of the family. They have been so good to me and truly made me feel welcome. The tasks I had to do
… read more were enjoyable and very fair. I felt it was the perfect combination of volunteering, free time and cultural exchange. I was given plenty of time to explore the area and just relax for a bit. It is really easy to get into town (Salta) if you want to explore that as well. I would ride and groom the horses nearly every day. I also helped out with a few simple things around the house, gave the odd English class and from time to time I would prepare a meal for everyone. A big thank you to Heike, Frank, Lucas and even Paulina in Europe for everything. I hope to see you guys again soon in the near future! I can fully recommend this experience, especially to those who love to be in nature and work with animals. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
