    Description

We are a family of three consisting of a metallurgical engineer (45), a lawyer (53), and a conservatory student (20). Our child is not with us most of the time. We will start living on a farm we established on a 15-acre plot surrounded by pine forests, 22 km north of Kaş, a famous tourism and diving center at the southern tip of Turkey. We lived on this land for a while in the past, but starting in October 2025, we plan to spend much more time here and make it our base. We spend part of our time in Istanbul and Malta for work.
Our family has 7 cats: Albay, Yoda, Mahmut 3, Mahmut 2, Caz, Pamuk, Ajan, and 1 dog: Moki. These numbers can sometimes increase or decrease temporarily.
The garden has over 400 olive trees and saplings, about 15 grape vines, about 15 lemon trees, and a few other varieties of fruit trees, as well as wild shrubs and trees.
Our main goal is to provide safe food for ourselves, our community, and like-minded people, and to protect the land and environment we are responsible for from pollutants.
Although we started out with the goal of establishing a permaculture-based organization, we also use natural farming and other clean farming methods. In this respect, it cannot be said that we are a permaculture farm.

We can show you permaculture and natural farming methods, practice Turkish with you if you're interested, and help you learn about local food and culture. If you're interested, we'd be happy to share our knowledge and practice Turkish and country culture with you.
In addition, you may have the opportunity to meet friends at a few places in our neighborhood that host Workawayers.

  • Help

    Help

You can help us with many things. We have endless tasks that change with the seasons:
Pruning trees, hoeing, fertilizing, picking fruit, setting up olive trees, pruning grapevines, harvesting, making vinegar and wine, feeding chickens, cats, and dogs, building fences, collecting stones, mowing grass, making and checking compost, minor repairs, gathering and cutting firewood, planting and caring for vegetable seedlings are just a few that come to mind. While not overly strenuous, please remember that most tasks often require constant physical effort.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

There are three houses on the property, one of which is reserved for volunteers. It consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sofa large enough to sleep on. Each room has a wood stove, refrigerator, oven, and other basic kitchen appliances. There is no air conditioning for the summer months. A small fan is used. This house has hot water and a bathroom.
We will provide you with a reasonable amount of basic foodstuffs on a weekly basis, sufficient for three meals a day. You can cook and use the kitchen in the house where you will be staying. However, we would very much like to share a meal together at least one day a week.
