We are a B&B offering surfing and yoga, located in the south of Sicily, in the small village of Santa Maria del Focallo
We're a small team who are passionate about living a good life, and therefore we work a lot during the season.
We are looking for a talented and reliable Sous-Chef to join our team for the 2026 season, from April to October (included).
The ideal candidate has experience working in a dynamic kitchen environment, enjoys teamwork, and is passionate about creating fresh, flavorful dishes. You will support the Head Chef Francesco in daily operations, contribute to menu execution, maintain high-quality standards, and help ensure a smooth and positive kitchen workflow.

While onsite you can use the staff car and can visit the surroundings.
There are many UNESCO sites around the area that you can visit. Usually our volunteers make friends with the guests and often go around with them. At night, there are some bars at around 5 km away.Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

What we are looking for :
Work qualities:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen (preferably in a similar role).
Ability to work independently and also support the Head Chef efficiently.
Good understanding of food hygiene standards and kitchen safety.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask during busy services.
Creativity and passion for fresh, high-quality cuisine.
Bonus : if you have experience in cooking for vegetarian diet
Personal qualities:
+ 24 year old
Speaks Italian (or at least understand it)
Willing to learn and be part of a team!
Positive, collaborative attitude and good communication skills.
Reliability, punctuality, and strong sense of responsibility.
Ability to handle pressure and maintain a calm, solution-oriented mindset.
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of the team and menu.
Availability:
Full availability from April to October 2026 (high-season schedule, including weekends).
